REED'S POV
I began to avoid eye contact, there's no way I would have told her my real mission. Though she was my mate, i still could not trust her with such vital information that could either make or break me
She stared keenly at me awaiting response, while I racked my brain in search for an alibi. No idea seemed to be coming in
“Um... *SMACK*” I hit her head with a force that was enough to make her unconscious
“Sameer!“ I called in a tone of urgency
“Yes Reed” He answered immediately
“Jeremy! Sameer, it's Jeremy! “ I corrected and he nodded
“Noted. How can I be of service to you?“
“I need Amanda's presence right away” I informed, and his gaze moved to the unconscious lady lying on the bed. He stared at her for a considerably long time
