Red lights were flashing as we hurried down the hallway. I stumbled along, my hurt feet aching as Geabble kept his hand wrapped tightly around my arm. Arthur didn’t look back as he led us down the hallways. I didn’t recognize where we were going but I doubted it was anywhere I wanted to be. The building shook slightly and dust rained down from the roof above. Arthur paused as he looked up for a moment before continuing on.  “If the lights go out,” Geabbe whispered to me, “get him away from us.” I nodded as we followed after Arthur. I didn’t let myself hope that the lights would go out. I was tempted to use my energy, however, that could get way out of control too fast. I slowed as Geabble’s grip on my arm grew tighter.
