The rest of the trip passed by in silence. I guess both of us had said enough. I kept giving Malcom small glances. Or Montgomery, if I were to believe his insane story. So many thoughts floated around in my head, buzzing like angry bees. There were so many things about his story that didn't make sense. Like, how did he know he was my mate? How and why did the witches help kill Malcom, if that is what really happened?  You could always ask him. I sat straight up in my seat.
