SILENT CORPSES

The unfortunate child is crying on the sidewalk. Who will turn to look at him, lamenting his misfortune. We are in the cruel hands of God, how should humanity exist! Behind the high walls of the palace, all I could see was the sky. I couldn't even see freedom, when death was more terrible. But after this freedom that had fallen into my hands, after all these phrases and all this life, would I now accept to live again in a box in order not to die? It was impossible for me to think rationally with Kize touching me so freely. I definitely wanted to continue, but he seemed to be trying to stop. "Kize..." As I said that, he silenced me with a quick kiss on my lips. After a short, hard kiss, he pulled back, "But, I think we need to be patient." He said and brushed back the hair that had fallen in my face with his fingers. He had a nervous smile on his face. "It bothers me that I have to stop." He said and wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me tightly. I closed my eyes and listened to his heart, which I felt on my bare chest. His heart was beating as fast as mine. He stroked my hair and we held each other for a while. "Am I the reason you stopped?" I asked, murmuring. Of course I didn't think he didn't want me, but if he was stopping because I didn't want to do this right now, he shouldn't have stopped. Because I wanted to keep going. When he laughed, a small wheezing sound came from his lungs. "I would give anything for you right now Een, I don't think you realize it but you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." I didn't know whether to correct his misunderstanding or be surprised at what he said. "Kize, don't exaggerate, of course there are more beautiful women than me." The person I was thinking of when I said that was Irine. The two of us couldn't even compare in terms of beauty. When Kize pushed me back, our wet skin pressed together separated like a band and he put his hands on my waist and looked into my eyes. "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Your demeanor, your tone of voice, your looks, your hair and your body. You have everything I want in a woman, even things I didn't realize I wanted." My heart was beating inside my mouth as he spoke. My chest heaved with excitement. Even though I had a shy smile on my face, I really wanted to kiss him on the lips and make love to him. "Don't do what you think." He said with a half smile. "I can have trouble controlling my power, we can't make s*x without you getting stronger." He grabbed me by the shoulders, turned me around and sat me between his legs. I was thinking about what he had said as he took the shampoo and poured it on my head and gently lathered my hair. "But in the car, you said we could do it now?" I mumbled as Kize gently washed my hair. He put his chin on my shoulder and took a deep breath. "I wondered how you would react." He said and quickly wiped the foam from my eyes. "That's why Beera got angry when she saw you with me. There's a very good chance I could hurt you, and of course I wouldn't do it on purpose." He said and pressed his lips to my ear. "When your body is strong enough, I will not restrain myself." He whispered. He stepped back and continued to wash my hair as goosebumps appeared on my skin. "Is that black line on your back from your wing?" he asked in a soft voice. I nodded. "Yes." I said, even though I didn't remember what had happened, of course I knew what that black line was where my wing should have been. I had been punished. "I think I ran away to avoid being sacrificed, and they may have bruised my wing as punishment." When I said that, he mumbled as if thinking. "That explains why you're injured." He said, taking my arms in his foamy hands and resting his chin on my shoulder again. " Whoever is bothering you, just show me when we get there." He said and kissed my cheek. I smiled, turned around and kissed him quickly on the cheek. I loved that he wanted to come into my world with me. After I was thoroughly washed and cleaned, I wrapped a towel around my body and took off my wet panties. Kize wrapped his towel around his waist and we went into the living room together. I sat on the couch next to the hot stove that was still burning. Kize went to the bedroom and came back with the clothes. I quickly put on the clothes he gave me to wear and wrapped the towel around my hair. Just then Kize returned from the kitchen with a cup of coffee and tea. I took the cup of tea and thanked him, he sat down next to me and put his hand on my shoulder. "I don't want to disappoint you." He said in a calm voice and took a sip of his coffee. My eyebrows furrowed. "What do you mean?" I said as I turned to look at him. "I know you want to continue." He said and looked into my eyes. "But we had to stop so I wouldn't hurt you, Een." He said and left a small kiss on my cheek. "It's okay, we just met." I said and he gave a short laugh. "You are so unfamiliar with relationships princess, we don't have to know each other for a long time to desire each other. Neither do we need to have sex." I sighed and threw my head back as he spoke. I wasn't embarrassed to touch each other, but it was really embarrassing to talk about it. "Okay Kize." I said grumpily and leaned my head on his shoulder and took a sip of the hot tea. The big socks Kize had given me were hanging from my feet. "Tell me, what was your life like where you came from? Why did they send you here?" He asked, wrapping his arm around my waist. I closed my eyes in relief as his warm body enveloped me. "There is a disease among the butterflies, it comes out of nowhere and many adults die in a few hours. No one who has contracted it has ever survived." I said and turned my body towards him and put my head on his chest. He was listening to me in silence. "Our ancestors thought they could cure the disease by sacrificing a butterfly born with one wing to the god every fifty years. And because I was born with one wing, I was sent here." I said, feeling sweetly sleepy. "And why did you stay so far away from everything?" He asked and I took a deep breath of his fragrance. "Because I was to be sacrificed, I was forbidden to go anywhere outside the palace. I never met anyone from outside the palace in my life, until I came here. No one was allowed to come and talk to me except when necessary. The servants, my brother, my sister, even the king and queen only spoke to me when necessary." My voice was slowly getting hoarse as I explained. When Kize took a deep breath and puffed out his chest, my head lifted. "That's ridiculous, what would happen if they talked to you?" Kize said irritably. I shrugged again. "I don't know, the king didn't want to. Even though I was good with my sister and brother when I was a kid, they stopped communicating with me after the king talked to them." I said, my voice was now a whisper, I was about to fall asleep, I wanted to talk more but I was so tired that I could fall asleep at any moment. "Isn't the King your father?" He asked this time. I nodded, yes he was, but I think he was only biologically my father. "I guess no one wanted to bond with me because I was coming here. So as not to get upset. Until I came here, though, I thought I was going to die during the sacrifice. I didn't believe in God." I said with a smile. I heard Kize taking a sip of her coffee. I still had my tea in my hand, but Kize must have realized I was going to fall asleep because he slowly picked up the cup and put it on the table. "At what age did this start?" I opened my eyes and looked into Kize's eyes, which were watching me seriously. He looked angry. I closed my eyes again. "For as long as I can remember, I was taught that I would be wooed and go to God's world and ask for healing for butterflies. But the truth is, even as a small child I didn't believe in God." I felt Kize's muscles contracting under my hands as I said this. I wasn't sure if he said anything afterwards, but sleep had taken me. I flew with my colorful wings into the blue sky among the pollen blown by a sweet breeze. "Een." Kize said, touching my shoulder. I opened my eyes and tried to see him in the dark room. I think I had fallen asleep on the sofa because I was tired and Kize had brought me to the room. "Something came up, I have to go. I probably won't be back in the morning, you can have breakfast and return if you want. Don't go into the forest after dark, it's not safe." I looked at his face, which I couldn't see clearly because of the darkness. "The forest?" I asked in a sleepy voice. "Yeah, if it's late when you wake up and you're not going to get home on time, wait for me. Don't go into the woods alone late at night, okay?" He kissed me on the cheek and left the room. I didn't really understand what he was saying because I was sleepy. I closed my eyes and went back to sleep. There was my sister's smiling face in front of me. Our eyes met as we sat in the large dining room of the palace, eating our meal in silence. The king made a few grunts and glared at my brother who was enjoying his meal. The queen, as always, glanced at me from time to time, waiting for the slightest mistake to scold me. When I smiled at my sister, she frowned and slowly put the knife down on the table and looked at Mistress Seli standing behind me. "Isn't it selfish of her not to remember?" She said, her smile sad but hateful. I felt as if at any moment she was going to attack me and hurt me with the knife under her fingers. I tensed, of course my sister was not the kind of person who would do such a thing. Even though we were not very close, of course I knew she loved me. I couldn't understand what they were talking about when Mistress Seli made a sound like she was approving of my sister. I looked at my family sitting at the table, and when I realized that everyone had stopped eating and was looking at me, I felt goosebumps. The king stood up from his chair as a cold wind, I didn't know where it came from, blew through my hair. The great shadow of his imposing body seemed to be coming towards me. He raised the goblet in his hand and looked into my eyes. "Tonight at dinner, we drink to Een, my beloved daughter. In honor of her destroying our family." He said and held the goblet out to me. He had a terrible expression on his face, all his skin was stretched and his wrinkles were sunken in. It was as if the king had suddenly aged a hundred years. "See what you have done, Een!" He said loudly and drank all the wine in his goblet in one breath. Wine dripped from his beard as he set the glass down hard on the table. I took a deep breath and pushed back in my chair to escape his growing shadow. I dropped my fork because my hands were shaking. "Jinx, I should have destroyed you as soon as you were born!" the queen shouted. At that moment, my body stiffened, I lost the ability to move, I froze and just watched them. When my brother also got up from the table, he had a look of hatred on his face. He gritted his teeth and picked up the dinner knife on the table and threw it at me. I wanted to step back and avoid the knife, but I still couldn't move as it fell to the floor, leaving a cut on my cheek. I looked at each of their hateful faces one by one and a huge scream echoed in my head. I couldn't tell if I was screaming or just shouting in my head because I couldn't make a sound. It was still the same sound when Mistress Seli's rough hands suddenly grabbed my shoulders. Everyone at the table had a satisfied smile on their faces as her nails pierced my flesh and blood ran down my shoulders. The king let out a loud laugh, and the others joined in. I closed my eyes tightly as their incessant laughter mingled with the sound of screaming. Panting, I got out of bed and looked around the dark room. There was a ringing in my ears and a pain in my throat. I touched my mouth when I realized that my lips were tightening, and that's when I knew I was screaming. As soon as I realized this, I immediately shut up and coughed several times because of my dry, aching throat. When I pulled the covers off me, I felt the cold of the morning. There was no one in bed but me, Kize had gone in. I knew he wasn't home because if he heard me screaming he would have come right away. I wonder what kind of nightmare I had? After I found my socks in the bed, I put them on and yawned to loosen my body. The morning chill, especially after the heat under the covers, was not pleasant. I also had an uncomfortable pain in my shoulder. My legs were aching too, though. Oh Kize, this man was definitely trying to kill me! When I got into the bathroom I washed my face with hot water and brushed my teeth with the toothbrush Kize had given me last time. When I woke up I was surprised that Kize wasn't home, but I remembered that he had woken me up in the evening and said something about him having to leave, I think he had a long talk, but I only remembered the part about him leaving. He had something to do. I had to take deep breaths as I put on the clothes that Kize had washed but which were still dry in some places. If I didn't die of cold on the road, nothing could kill me. I could have gone with Kize's clothes, of course, but they were too wide. The tracksuit would definitely have fallen off me on the way down the mountain. I had to go home, even though the pain in my legs told me to sit down and not move forever. I grimaced at the pain in my muscles as I put my bag on my back. I didn't know if I would ever get used to this training. Grumbling through the pain, I left the house, not sure if it was okay to leave the door unlocked, but I looked for a key and couldn't find one anywhere. Besides, I didn't think anyone would break into the house of the right hand of God to steal. Since the sun hadn't risen yet, the icy air made my skin crawl. Moreover, my clothes were still damp and this made me feel cold to the bone. I took a deep breath and looked down at the forest below the mountain. It wasn't quite dark, just the blue of the morning. In ten minutes the sun would rise. I could also see clearly in front of me, so getting home wouldn't be a problem. If it had been dark, after yesterday's noises, I would never have gone into the forest. Even now I was afraid, but the sun would be up before I reached the forest. By the way, when exactly was winter going to end! It felt like it had been winter for years and now I wanted to celebrate the coming of spring. I missed the last spring festivities because I had already moved into the cocoon. Ah, I wonder how the festivities were organized here? I put my bag on both arms and started walking down the mountain at a fast pace, but my legs hurt so much that my speed dropped immediately. God, Kize was definitely a monster. How was I supposed to live with this pain! And I might not be able to do this every Sunday, I was definitely going to give up at some point and cry at Kize's feet. By the time I reached the entrance to the forest, the sun was slowly rising and it was getting brighter. The sunlight coming out from behind the mountain made the snow explode like crystal and the sight was mesmerizing. Okay, I hated the snow yesterday morning, but now I loved it. I was already out of breath as I entered the forest. Even when I was running uphill last night, I was not this tired. Well, it was natural. After all, Kize had worked me like a dog for hours. So my body was tired. It would probably take me a year to recover from this fatigue. And I definitely didn't want to lift a hand in a year. Ah, Sunday! Please let time pass slowly, God! I couldn't walk any further, so I leaned my hand against one of the trees and took deep breaths and waited for my fatigue to subside. In the meantime, I felt the energy in the soul of the tree I was leaning against and smiled. It felt me touching it and opened its eyes, even though it was in hibernation. I mean, of course, the tree didn't have eyes in the literal sense. It was the eyes in its soul that opened. The smile on my face widened and I stroked the bark of the tree with my fingertip. I expected it to be happy to see me, but I frowned when I felt its anxiety. "What happened, did I disturb you?" I said shyly and pulled my hand away. It might have been angry that I had woken it from its sleep, after all, no one wanted to wake up to this cold. I took a step back when I realized that the other trees were also opening their sleepy eyes. They were all worried and certainly not because I had woken them up. "Run!" said the tree I had just touched. I took a few more steps back and looked at the frightened feelings of the trees. I staggered as I fumbled around. There was something, but I couldn't understand why they were behaving this way. Could it be the owner of last night's whisper? "What happened?" I said in a panic, my voice shaking. I tried to understand what they were saying when they all started shouting in unison. "It's coming!" "It's too fast!" "You won't make it in time, run!" I could distinguish a few sentences among the voices. I took a deep breath. "Calm down, where should I run!" I shouted, if I didn't raise my voice, they definitely couldn't hear me because of their own voices. "Over here!" a tree called to me and I turned in that direction and ran to it with all my might. They were so agitated that they were shaking their branches and blowing the snow off them. As each of them called me to them one by one and showed me the way to go, the snow was falling on me because they were hiding. I was running with all my might, but I didn't know exactly what I was trying to escape from. "Behind you, you need to run faster!" When one of the trees shouted, I involuntarily looked behind me. When I saw that thing, which was not far from me, I felt a huge pain in my heart. I opened my mouth to scream, fear was forcing me to scream, but no sound came out. But when a hand suddenly grabbed my arm and stopped me, the scream I had been saving was torn from my mouth. As I tried to move to get away from the person holding my arm, "Don't scream." The man holding me said and suddenly let go of my arm. As I pulled my body backwards, I lost my balance and fell into the snow. I took a deep breath and looked at the sunlight illuminating the tree branches, I couldn't move because my legs were useless. So I'm gonna die now?
