Chapter 7 Scattered balls of crumpled-up papers were lying around my desk when I walked into the office. Didn't Brandy ever tire of acting like a child? If she had hobbies, she wouldn't have time to be evil. I fished the phone out of my pocket and snapped a photo to save for later. Then I unfurled one of the balls to discover they were contracts that needed to be faxed this morning. I snapped another photo and spent the rest of my morning getting papers as straight as possible before faxing them.
