The Celestial Wolf

The beginning

Crystal Hearts P.O.V:

Just before my 18th birthday which no one knew when it was. This is because my father only counts the years from the attack since that's what he was doing the day I was born and since my mother wasn't around to tell him it was a guessing game since I didn't even fully know. I was doing the same thing I did every night which was writing in my journal. I kept a journal since I was small to document everything and anything. My mother and I would write together but since she passed I do everything in my power to keep her close by writing. So tonight's journal will be another way to keep her close just as before.

"Dear Journal, Today my father met someone new she seemed nice but I still have my guard up as people are usually always nice in the beginning. However my father wanted to make her Luna which made me snarled a little because how dare he think he can replace mom even if it's only til I take over. I get he is still heartbroken from mom passing and is only trying to get by but still it upsets me. I just need to hurry up turn 18 and get my wolf and mate so I can take over. I am curious as to what my mate and wolf would be like. Goodnight Journal tomorrow comes a new day!!"

After writing in my journal I was off to bed. As I slept I had an amazing dream about my cousin Drake and his mate Skyi, my assumed mate the Alpha King of the MoonLit Pack and the entire were community kingdom, and I. We were eating at a restaurant and hanging out before going to the waterfall for my first shift.

Then I woke up, of course just it got to the good part I would wake but I guess some things have to be a mystery. I thought to my self then chuckled. My cousin and I have always been close almost like siblings he was Alpha of his own territory near by and visited me often with his mate Skyi who became a good friend of mine. We would hang a lot when they visited.

After waking up I would go to my bathroom take a shower and begin getting ready for school. I went down stairs and who did I have to find there but dad's new girlfriend making breakfast, something about this Samantha girl made me uneasy. My dad Lucian was drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.

"Good morning dad, good morning Samantha" I said as I entered the kitchen to grab a cup of coffee and a banana.

My dad said good morning as did Samantha however she had a wickedness in her eyes before turning back to the stove and my father. I had a really bad feeling but because I don't have my wolf yet I cant be sure as I don't have any of my abilities I would get once I got my wolf. I hurriedly grabbed my coffee and banana and began to grab my things to get to school.

"Have a great day at school and don't forget to come by the pack house afterwards" my father called out to me as I was leaving.

I simply replied with "Okay dad".

We lived in a grand house since my dad was Alpha. It was Victorian white with navy shudders. My room was a lilac color with vibrant decor in all neon colors. I left it like that because my mom liked neon colors.

I got into my car which was a decked out SUV Cadillac Escalade, in black of course. When I arrived my best friend Valerie was there waiting for me to tell me all about how she found her mate. Just by her saying that made me feel annoyed with stabbing pain in my chest. This was odd but I brushed it aside and let her talk.

This stabbing pain came from not knowing if Alpha King Leon and I are fated mates or will we be chosen mates and what will happen once I reject my fated mate if it's not Leon. There is just so much lore on the consequences of rejecting a fated mate.

I need to know my birthday and I need to know if Alpha King Leon is my fated mate. I love him so much and being chosen mates isn't as powerful or binding as fated mate bonds.

So let me take you back a little to when we first met. He was 18 and getting coronation as the Alpha King of the were world. I was 16 and as the daughter of an Alpha I had to be there. It was love at first sight honestly. We talked and danced all evening and decided to begin secretly dating after realizing we were perfect for each other. Both strong bloodlines amazing features head strong and both wanted to give all weres the best.
