I was about to tell Crystal about my mate but I noticed her expression and I can see she was annoyed. However, she insisted that I continue so I did.

So my mates name is Blade he is an elite warrior top of his class and has an amazing smile. He has blueish eyes dark hair and a perfectly chiseld face and body. We are gonna do the marking this weekend we have a whole romantic getaway planned. I'm excited but I'm nervous.

I was finished talking yet Crystal didn't respond, she seemed in her own world. I clapped my hands real loud to get her attention. It worked so good she flinched hard and dropped her book.

I asked her if she was okay and she responded with yeah, sorry I was just thinking about King Leon. I replied with what about him, do you think you guys are still mates?

Of course I do, she replied with less excitement than usual. I'm getting really worried about her behavior so I ask what's wrong Crystal everything okay? Cryatal responded with Kinda my dad started seeing this New Women who gives me a bad vibe so I'm just thinking on how I can keep an eye on her.

Crystal if you need help let me know I'm sorry for the women in your life but if you really think she's up to no good we will find proof and save your dad. Crystal replied with I will keep you informed and come up with a plan to go about this we have to becareful. Now let's get to class!

Crystals P.O.V:

Walking into class Val and I saw we had a substitute for clan history. The substitute was my dad's new girlfriend. She welcomed the class but gave me a cold stare and Val noticed. Val looked at me with concern and told me that Samantha was new to the pack after being kicked out of her old kingdom for rejecting her fated mate my Alpha King Leon. King Leon rejected her too as he was hoping I was his mate we were in love and were waiting til my birthday. He also rejected her because they were not a good fit and come from enemy bloodlines and he didn't want bad blood within the kingdom.

I told Val that I knew about the rejection but I didn't think she would come here and try to infiltrate my life. I got a text message from Leon just as class was starting.

Crystal my love my first fated mate is your substitute today don't let her intimidate you she is not worthy of your reaction. She has no back bone and not worthy to be a Luna or My queen unlike you. Remember I love you and your birthday is soon. I truly hope you will be mated to me and if not I hope you take me as your chosen mate anyway. Have good day my Luna/Queen. LOVE LEON.

I sighed in relief but got interrupted from responding. Samantha called me to the front of the room to answer her question which I didn't hear because I was too drawn to the text from my beloved.

Crystal Heart answer the question, Samantha said in a yelling and aggressive tone. I replied with what was the question again. She said the question is what happens when a soon to be Luna is fated to a Mate from another pack or kingdom? I felt a stab in my chest.. this was directed at me I know it.

I replied with, that Luna would have to make a choice either to reject her mate and remain Luna of her birth pack or choose to release her position and join her mate and become a member of her mates pack or kingdom. However the Luna Queen may take her birth pack and add it to the power of the kingdom and assign a separate beta for that land to act as consult.

That's only half correct Crystal now take a seat. Actually it's fully correct check your laws as a future Luna Queen I have studied all rights regarding birth pack and chosen pack. I will take my seat now. Crystal if you keep speaking to me like that in my class you will be removed she retorted. That's when Val spoke and said we'll considering your only a substitute this isn't your class and your here temporarily. She sent Val to the hallway for the rest of the class.

I took a seat and reached for my phone to reply to Leon. As I was about to answer I started thinking what if this was her plan to get me away so she can manipulate my father into doing as she wanted with the pack. I fear the worse for those that are close with me which is nearly everyone. This lady is gonna cause chaos I know it. She needs to be taken down a few pegs. I'm also beginning to suspect that she wants something else I will definitely have to keep my eye on her one way or another.
