Aurora stood next to the hot tub, her dress draped over the back of one of the chairs. She shivered in the cool evening breeze, still trying to convince herself that she should get dressed and ask Matteo to bring her back home. She looked up at the night sky, asking the stars for guidance, but they remained quiet.
The sound of footsteps coming up the stairs from the lower balcony startled her, and she quickly stepped into the hot water, submerging herself in the bubbles, before he could see her.
