Over the next few days Brad’s decision to stay with Andy and David rather than return to the loft apartment he shared with Hank at Reynolds Quarter Horses proved to be a good one. The long drive between the farm and the hospital would have cut into the time he spent with his gran. The downside of that decision was that his communication with Hank was minimized. He couldn’t use his cell phone in the hospital so between his staying there most of the day and into the evening and Hank’s busy schedule at the show, most of his contact with his man was through voicemails and messages Hank had left with David or Andy.
