The entire night last night, Kayla had tossed and turned in her sleep, nervous about the flight that she was going to be taking with her friends Shanna and Dawn to London. To say that she was terrified about the flight was an understatement. She always feared dying in a plane crash like her older brother did three years ago. But, she knew that she needed to get over that fear, she also knew that she needed to get out of this town for a while. So she knew that this two week trip was the best thing for her. Kayla was happy that she was finally going to be miles away from her cheating ex-boyfriend, Daniel. As far as she was concerned Trisha could have the cheating bastard. As she continued to move her suitcases toward the front door, she felt her phone vibrate in her pants pocket. Placing her bags down she pulled out her phone to see who was texting her only to see that it was none other than Daniel. She cringed at the sight of his of his message. "Look, Kayla. I'm sorry about what happened between me and Trisha. I didn't mean for any of this to happen." Quickly, Kayla responded back to him with a not so nice message. "Look you sick freak! Stop messaging me. You're the one that made the decision to sleep with her not me. So leave me alone!!!" Angrily Kayla turned her phone off and shoved it back into her pants pocket and carried her bags and sat them beside the door and went into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee. Once she had her sweetened hot drink in a Styrofoam cup she picked up her house phone and called Shanna to tell her that she was ready to leave. With her call finished she flipped through the channels on her tv until she heard the doorbell ring. Quickly, she turned her tv off and went to and peeped out the little peep hole on her door and saw Shanna standing there. Opening the front door, Shanna came inside and closed the door behind her and then turned and looked at Kayla with a smile on her face. "So, you ready to go?" "Yep. I'm all set. I packed everything last night. I'm just ready to finally get out of this town for a while." Kayla replied, as she grabbed her jacket from her closet and put it on. "Well, let's get a move on then. We don't want to be late for our flight. Dawn is outside waiting on us." Shanna replied, a bag in hand. Kayla nodded, and grabbed her other bag and placed it on her shoulder and grabbed her cup of coffee, keys and purse and headed out the door behind Shanna, locking the door behind her. Once outside, at Shanna's car they quickly placed Kayla's things into the trunk and got inside the car and headed to the airport. Their flight to London was long and tiresome and all that three young women wanted to do as soon as they reached their hotel was sleep. When they all woke up they went out and ate and made plans on the different places that they wanted to visit while they were in England. That night they went back to their hotel rooms and slept in comfort and excitement about everything that their trip had to offer them.
