Save Me Alpha

CHAPTER 8

JASPER POV

'This is all your fault Tyler! Why couldn't you have kept your s**t together!' I shout at Tyler in my head.

'That unmated asshole had his hands on our mate man, what did you expect me to do?'

I subconsciously shake my head at him, 'You could have not wolfed out man! I would have dealt with it differently! Now we're chasing her through the woods! She's never going to trust us!'

Tyler grunts back at me 'You were just as f*****g pissed so don't give me that! Our mate probably thinks that slut Miranda is ours after she kissed your cheek!'

'f**k off dog! Such a-" Our attention is grabbed from the sound of our mate stopping, her breathing turns erratic. I sniff the air sensing she isn't far from us, I didn't run that fast to be honest, she was fast but not that fast. I couldn't just leave her run off.

I hear her scream and bolt towards her as I pick up the scent of another unknown wolf.

I open my mind link I hadn't even realised I'd shut off to hear several warriors screaming 'Rogue!!' at eachother. 

I hear a scuffle and stop in front of her on the floor, I growl and jump forward but stop when I see her throw the wolf off of her, she had stabbed him in the chest once already.

She grips the knife in her hand and angles it before throwing it quickly and it hits the rogue straight between the eyes, it lets out a yelp and slumps on the floor while it's eyes roll to it's whiteness.

'She's a warrior, a sexy damn warrior' Tyler says excitedly.

I see her eyes had darkened from the adrenaline, she turns to look at me and the other warrior wolves surrounding her. Tears start falling from her beautiful eyes, she gets down on her knees.

"Just f*****g kill me! Hurry up!" She shouts at us.

I quickly shift back, she stares at me in shock and horror before abruptly throwing up in front of her.

"Rosalie, nobody is going to hurt you" I hold my hands up to show I won't harm her.

"Jasper?" was the last thing she says to me before passing out on the floor.

"God f*****g dammit! How did the rogue get passed the border you f*****g idiots?!" I shout at the warriors.

A couple of them start muttering excuses through mind link at me.

I mind link Jaxon and Devon explaining we need new boarder warriors as these ones were to train for the rest of the night without food. 

I ignore the protests and pick up Rosalie, I head back to pack house thinking of how I'm supposed to resolve this. 

I feel a sense of calmness wash over me as she tucks her head into my chest and sighs, a smile nipping at her mouth makes both my heart and c**k. Such a beauty. A fiery beauty at that.

As I make my way to my room, I think of how she had stood up to me with fire in her words and had impressed the s**t out of me by throwing that knife at Miranda. A f*****g knife! And then she- a human had killed a f*****g rogue, like what the f**k? Some of my warriors struggle to do that in wolf form.

I need to get to know this woman, I need to make her mine completely.

I enter my room and place her on my bed, she instantly furrows her brow at the loss of contact. 

I mind linked Sofia and Max to meet me in my office, I got up and opened the bedroom door before stopping to stare at Rosalie. 

How could I possibly have a second mate?

"my beautiful Rosalie" I smile and lock the door behind me heading to my office.

"I'm so very sorry alpha, I really didn't think she would cause problems" Sofia and Max sat in my office, Sofia leaning into Max with a worried look on her face.

I raised my hand at her "It's fine Sofia, it was my fault. I lost my temper, I realised last night that Rosalie is my um... mate. My second chance mate". I smiled at them both as I said the words out loud.

Max smirked at me while Sofia got up and started jumping up and down clapping her hands, "Oh my god! I can't believe it! She's going to be our Luna! And then marriage and oh my days... pups!!" 

Max started shushing her trying to calm her down, I felt a slight pang in my chest at what Sofia said.

"Let's not rush into things Sofia Jesus, there's a lot to think through. First of all I need to know what her deal is, she is a fiery spirit I'll give her that and let's not mention she threw a knife at Miranda and a rogue which killed it! So please explain". 

Sofia nodded fumbling with her fingers, taking a few breaths.

"Um when my sister passed when Ros was 18 I offered her to move here but she refused to and said she wanted to stay on her own which I allowed but stayed in contact, she's never really been good with people, especially men she didn't really know. Like it was different with guys she wanted to sleep with, as you saw with Sam earlier."

I growled when she said his name.

"Oh yeah sorry alpha, but you get what I mean. She was angry before her parents died, always in trouble in school, police brought her home or they'd have to see her teachers because she fought or something. She was even worse when they died, she joined a lot of different self defense classes, weapons classes and even dragged her out of a cage fight once, she's got issues..." Sofia's eyes became glassy the more she spoke.

I gave her a sympathetic smile, "Any ideas why she's like that? I can't help our mate bond if I don't know".

I wanted to help her in every way possible. Give her everything. 

Sofia looked down at the floor, she took a deep breathe and looked up at me with a couple of tears falling.

"You're aware of how Max found me and my sister? After our father ran off, we didn't know where he was. We moved and everything but when Ros was about 9 he found her and kidnapped her, none of us know what he did to her but after days of searching we found them and obviously you know Max killed him. But Ros, she wasn't the same, she just never recovered, she never spoke about it to anyone and was angry all the time."

Max stroked her arm and pulled her onto his lap, hugging her from behind.

She sniffled away some tears and looked at me again, "You just need time with her alpha, you can save her please."

"What happened with her other relationships? I heard she has had quite a few" The thought of my mate with other males made me angry and sick to my stomach but I felt better knowing they never worked out. 

"She could never connect with them on a level other than physical, and then that would wear off. She felt lonely all the time, that's it. You need to get to know her, mind, body and soul. Please help our girl alpha." Sofia wiped some more tears away.

"I'll try to do everything I can Sofia, I lost my first mate and it almost killed me. I will not lose my second mate, I'd rather die. Thank you both, I'll be in touch. In the mean time, Sofia if you could maybe be there for her in case my attempts go sideways." 

Sofia nodded and smiled and left together, hand in hand all the way out.

My Rosalie.

I will save you.

Even if I die trying.
