Alliance and Dinner Talk

Alliance and Dinner Talk They all get to the dragon’s house. Linda goes into the kitchen with a few of the kitchen staff that she brought with her to start preparing dinner. The others gather around the dining table to talk about alliances. Robert pulls out a map of the area, he points out where each territory and what the other surrounding territories are. He points out which ones are allies and which ones they are watching for potential attack. He shows where the nearby witch covens are and the hunter’s base. There is silence for a moment as everyone studies the map. MJ points to an area on the map next to both the Black Diamond and Blackfur packs, “What is this area, I did not hear you say who lives there?” Jace looks at where he is pointing. “That is unclaimed, the area is very mountainous and not suitable for wolves and others to inhabit,” he says. MJ nods and says, “I would like to look at this area, father, if this area could be suitable for dragons what do you think of moving the horde there? We would have territory that borders our allies and that would make us stronger and safer as well as our allies. We would be able to protect the outer borders with minimal guards on the inner borders. Jace and Dylan, how would you feel about the dragon horde occupying that mountain area and securing your northern borders?” Everyone looks at him with some surprise. Maximus smiles as do Jace and Dylan. Jace and Dylan nod at each other and Jace says, “When you see the area and if you deem it suitable for your people, we feel that would be a good strategic move. If you decide to do this, we will just have to notify the council that you are purchasing this area with intent to occupy it. They give some push back, but you could point out that you would clear out any rouges that are in that area, that would help everyone, not just your allies.” MJ nods and starts thinking. Some of the dragons may be resistant to the move, but it would defiantly improve the strength and they would be closer to the girls that are moving to the packs. “Alright, tomorrow after the final meeting I would like to do a fly over with Blade and Steele to get their input, Mina, I would like you to come as well. You have an eye for how things should look and the potential that it could have. Jace, if you would like to fly with Mina you could point out exactly where the borders are,” MJ explains. Ember chimes in, “if I can go with you, I would like to take Dylan. I can see where we could put guard towers and where we may need to build perimeter fences to keep out unfriendlies.” Dylan smiles at Ember, “you are going to be an excellent Luna if you always think like that.” “Psh, I always think like that. I was raised to be a fighter and strategist. My dad did not want to worry about always having to protect me if him or Steele were not around,” Ember replies. MJ continues, “Yes, we have been requiring everyone to have some form of training. Women train with the men because they may have to defend themselves against men, so they need to know how to fight them. Our whelps are also trained to defend themselves and anyone younger than themselves.” “What are whelps?” Gem asks. MJ chuckles, “whelps are what we call our children, like you call yours pups.” She nods in understanding. The talk continues. The alliance was agreed upon, including having open borders to the packs and the horde in hopes that more people will find their mates and build better and stronger relations between the alliance trio. They also talked about who else to approach for an alliance. “Dad, remember that Kent from the hunters wants to talk with us. If he is wanting to reconcile, his group could be good potential allies,” MJ says. “That is right. We will talk to him tomorrow and see where he lies on the issue,” Maximus replies. Soon, the map is put away and Mina, Gem, Cara, Ember, Stacey, and Stella go into the kitchen to help finish dinner. The guys are called in to help carry out the food. Everyone sits down for dinner and friendly chats commence. The wolves are fascinated by the dragons and the powers that the possess. Jace asked the question that every other wolf was thinking, “Can we see your dragons?” Mina smiled at him, grabbed is hand and led him out back. The others followed. Maximus spoke, “You may want to stand back a little, dragons in their normal size are not small.” The wolves nodded and lined up watching as the dragons spread out. Each couple stayed near each other. “After I shift, can you so they can meet in their forms.” Mina asks Jace. He smiles and nods.
