Jace POV

Once we get back to the pack house, I tell Stan to show Bryant and Tim where the cells were. They went off to the cells while the rest of us headed into the pack house to get something to eat. After a quick snack our group is sitting in a conference room on the first floor. We are going over what the Bloodstone family has on the territory and what they believe the best course of action is with the information that they have so far. Bryant and Tim walk in and sit as well. “OK, I want to know how you all shifted without tearing your clothes and then were still wearing them,” Bryant says. MJ chuckles and ask, “Do you want to be able to do it to?” Bryant and Tim look at him like he has lost his mind. Tim jumps in and says, “Do you know how much we would save with not having to buy clothes all of the time and stashing them around the territory or having to carry clothes with us? It’s a giant pain in the ass, so YES!” We all laugh and MJ extends a talon, slices his palm and motions for them to do it as well. Bryant and Tim look at each other for a brief moment, but do it. MJ clasps hands, first with Bryant and then with Tim. “There, now you can do it too,” MJ states. “Are you serious? That’s it!” Bryant exclaims. Lucy chimes in and tells them a little about what she found in the tome. They seem satisfied with the answer. “We would like to be able to do this with the rest of our pack and our brother’s pack as well,” Bryant says to MJ. MJ nods, “I was going to offer this to all of our allies. I believe it would give us a tactical advantage.” Bryant smiles and nods.

We continue to discuss our plans. Specifically, with about the border between the Dragons and Bryant’s pack, since he is here to give some input. I give my input when needed, but since this is between the Dragons and Bryant’s pack, I let them make the decisions.

I put my arm around Mina and link her, ‘I really want to take you upstairs right now and have my way with you.’ She stiffens a little and I can see and feel her squirming ever so slightly. I catch a minor whiff of her arousal. I like that I have this effect on her. ‘You are a bad man for getting my hot and bothered while we are in a meeting,’ she scolds. I chuckle in my link and slightly blow on her mark, feeling her shiver. “Oh, for the love of the goddess, please go away. I don’t want to smell my sister wanting you!” MJ yells causing everyone to burst out laughing and Mina to turn into a tomato. “We will be back in a little while to discuss plans for our border with you once you are done discussing with Bryant and Tim. I imagine they will be similar,” I say as I stand and pull Mina along with me. We are out the door and headed for the stairs when a screeching noise causes everyone in the house to pause. “What was that,” I ask looking at Mina. Mina has a huge grin on her face, “It’s more of the horde coming. That one in particular, is my friend Misty. Her parents should be with her too. They are the leaders for the water Dragons,” she explains as we head outside to greet them, followed by the group from the conference room.

Mina POV

I heard Misty screech, announcing her arrival. Jace asked what that was and I told him about Misty and her parents. I grab his hand and we head to the yard to greet them. ‘Was that Misty,’ MJ links. ‘Yes!’ I respond. Him and the others are right behind us as we make it to the door. I open the door and am greeted by Misty’s light blue Dragon. She screeches again and then shifts. Misty has always been bubbly and happy go lucky. Her long, curly blonde hair is complimented by her light blues eyes and her fair skin. I am about to walk up to her when I hear a growl from behind me. I turn and see Bryant standing there with black eyes. He is breathing heavily. He stalks pass everyone, goes down the stair and straight up to Misty. He growls out “MINE.” Misty is staring at him with wide eyes and basically jumps into his arms. Her parents are behind her smiling widely. I walk up to them smiling. “I am so happy for you Misty,” I say. “There is a room at the top of the stairs on the right that you can use.” No sooner do I say that, Bryant has her scooped into his arm and is bounding back into the pack house. Tim is cat calling his brother as he runs past him.

I hear more screeches as more Dragons come into view and land in the yard. I see the Tim has stiffened and is smelling the sir. I look at who else has come and I see my friend Pearl land. She shifts from her pearly white Dragon. She is about my height, 5’8” with pale, straight, blonde hair that reaches the middle of her back with very, pale blue eyes, and pearly white skin. She runs over to me and gives me a hug, “Mina, I’ve missed you. It’s been far to long. Where is Misty? I know she got here,” she asks looking around and then stops suddenly when her eyes reach Tim. Tim growls out “MINE” crosses the yard, and pulls her into him. She squeals, “YAY!!! I found my mate.” “Room at the top of the stairs on the left,” I yell as Tim is sprinting across the yard to the pack house with Pearl flung over his shoulder and Pearl laughing her head off. I laugh as Jace walks over and pulls me into his side. “Well, it looks like our allies have found Dragon mates as well,” he says. I nod my head in agreement. “Let me introduce you to everyone,” I say and turn towards the new group of Dragons.

There are a mix of Dragons that came. Mainly Water and Earth Dragons to work on construction and water issues. There are a few Fire and Air Dragons. “Jace, these are Misty’s parents, Charles and Melinda Coral, and the Dragons that just landed behind Pearl are Jessie and Tammy Delmare, they are Pearl’s parents. They are all water Dragons.” “Yes, we are looking forward to talking to the young men that carted off our daughter and niece,” Charles says with a smile on his face. “Is that what happened? We hadn’t even landed and we saw Pearl over the shoulder of some burly looking guy. She looked happy so we didn’t interfere. Was that her mate?” Tammy asks. “Yes.” I respond. “Let’s get you all settled and then you can talk to Ralph and Trevor about the territory. They nod and I lead them over to Ralph and to get them settled.

Jace POV

I listen to Mina and MJ talk to the other Dragons. They tell them about the territory along with the Rouge attacks that we dealt with. Listening to them I start thinking about the attacks and how we didn't sense them until they were right on top of us. I should have smelt them long before I saw them. Rouges do not exactly smell nice. I am struck with a thought. "Mina, I need to meet with Devon and Mark. MJ, if you have time, I would like to talk to you as well," I say. Mina nods and gives me a quick kiss and goes back to talking with Pearl and Misty’s parents, MJ nods and follows me. We walk back into the house. Xavier is huffing about not being able to take Mina upstairs and have our way with her. I link Devon and Mark to meet me in the first-floor office.

When we get to the office and the door is shut, I exhale and say, "I think the Rouges are working with someone." MJ nods, "Yes. The ones that we dealt with had indicated that they knew people. Our best bet may be Bryant's cousin." I link Mina, 'When you see Bryant come out, please send him to my office.' 'Will do. Is everything OK?' Mina responds. 'We are discussing the Rouge. When you see Bryant you can come join if you would like. I will never shut you out of information. We run this pack together and the dragons are your people too,' I tell her. 'Thank you my love. ' she responds and closes the link. I turn back to the men in the room, "I have a thought, but I want to wait for Bryant to arrive so we can brainstorm this together, I also am going to call Kent to get his input. Until that happens, MJ, what do you think about all of the Dragons that have been mated to wolves, witches and now bears?" MJ laughs, "I think the moon goddess is planning something and is setting up something. I don't know what. It could be something coming soon or in a generation or two. I am just glad it is with our allies." A knock sounds on the door. Devon opens it to reveal Mina, and a freshly marked Bryant and Tim. Tim is laughing at the goofy grin the Bryant has, "This is fantastic. The brooding alpha bear has a goofy grin. We need to call John and tell him. This is just great!" Bryant shoves Tim and says, “Like you are any better.” Tim gets a huge smiled onto his face and has a dreamy look in his eyes. "I'm glad you said calling John. I am going to video conference him and Kent to talk about a theory I have. Also. Bryant and Tim, we need to question your cousin about why they had no scent." I say. Bryant and Tim sober up and puts a serious expression on.

I dial both Kent and John. “Hello Jace, MJ, and Bryant,” answers Kent. John is quietly studying his brothers and then asks, “Are those mate marks on your necks?” Bryant and Tim nod and smile. “WHAT THE HELL?” John yells. Why does Tim get his mate before I do?” Tim laughs at him. Kent has a grin on his face, “I am glad the you guys have found your mates. It gives me hope that I will find mine soon. Who knows, maybe I have a Dragon mate as well.” Mina chimes in, “It is possible.” “I have an idea. Why don’t you and John come to my territory? You can meet the Dragons that are here and we can discuss the rouge attack that we encountered today at the Dragon’s new territory along with ideas on outposts and brainstorm on any other things regarding this new alliance,” I suggest. “I can be there within the hour. I will take a chopper over and pick up John if he wants a lift,” Kent says. John agrees and we end the call.

“I am going to laugh so hard if those two end up with Dragon mates as well,” Mina says. MJ laughs and agrees. “I need to call Dylan and let him know what is going on and Mina, do you want to let Ember and Steele that more Dragons have arrived?” I ask. She nods and I dial Dylan. I put it on speaker phone for everyone to hear. “Hey Jace. How did scouting the territory today go?” Dylan answers. “It was good until we got attacked by rouges,” I respond. I hear him suck in his breath, “What happened? Do you need me to come back?” “We are all fine. We handled it quickly. The biggest issue is that they had no scent. We didn’t sense them coming until they were right on top of us. I have some suspicions. Kent and John are in route and will be here in about an hour. John and Kent are hoping to meet their mates and to discuss this issue along with other plans for the borders. Bryant and his Beta Tim are already here and have found mates within the new group of Dragons that have arrived,” I explain. I hear Ember squeal in the back ground asking who they are mated to and who else was here. “Jace, we are on our way over. Ember wants to see the other Dragons and we need to discuss plans as well.” He says and hangs up.

We decide to head back out to mingle with the new dragons. Bryant and Tim rush out of the door to find their mates. We get outside and Bryant and Tim already have their mates in their arms. I pull Mina into mine and see Devon and MJ do the same. I smile to myself. I was worried that I was going to be forced to take a chosen Luna but here I am with a perfect mate, I have gained a brother, my sister is happy, and Devon has his mate. With the Alphas and Betas of the alliance pact being mated with royal dragons and other alphas and what not, no one will want to stand against us. I am worried though. If my suspicion is correct, we could have a hard road a head with the council and getting the Dragon territory built up.

I am watching my pack mingle with the Dragons that have arrived. I have noticed that a couple of my omegas have paired off with Dragons. I wondered if they were mates. I would find out later. Right now, people were enjoying their time and getting to know each other. Maximus comes up to me, “You should be proud. You have been amazingly accepting of us and have made huge strides to unite the species.” “Thank you. I am proud of how everyone seems to be getting along. We are not really different. We just shift into different creatures and have different powers. The moon goddess is pairing us together, I think to show that,” I say in response. “There are a few more Dragons coming in soon. Toby’s brother, Tony, and his children, Freya and Fallon, are coming in.” I nod and notice Ember and Steele’s Dragons coming in to land. Dylan and Stacey get off then Ember and Steele shift back. Ember runs up to us and hugs Mina and Cara. The girls take off to snag Misty and Pearl, while Dylan and Steele walk up to us.

“When will Kent and John be here,” Dylan asks as the sound of a helicopter roars over us. I hear them land in the back. “Now,” I say with a smirk. Dylan and Devon roll their eyes at me. “Let’s go greet them,” Devon says. We head around back and are greeted by Kent and John, along with their Betas. We all shake hands and head back to the front to introduce them to the Ralph and his sons, so they know who is in charge of structure and planning for the new territory. As we round to the front, I notice that a few more Dragons have landed. I can’t see who they are. “Let’s go meet the new Dragons and then get the other Alphas and Betas as well as Ralph and his sons so we can discuss my suspicion and planning for the territory,” I say. As we are walking, I see a woman that looks to be about 5’4” with long, fire red hair, and bright green eyes running straight to us. I find this strange until Kent runs right past me and scoops her into his arms. She growls out MINE and he kisses her hard. MJ and Mina are laughing. All of a sudden, John is growling and has shifted into his bear and is bucking. I notice that a small blue haired woman is attached to his back. It takes a moment, but John settles and shifts back with her still on his back. He growls out MINE and pulls her into him. MJ, Mina, and the other girls are beside themselves. Mina has tears rolling down her cheeks from laughing so hard. I am just staring shocked at what just happened. ‘That’s Perla, she is Pearls little sister. They are about a year apart. She is feisty and likes to play jokes. I am guessing she thought it would be fun to surprise her mate,’ Mina links me. ‘Who is the one that Kent has wrapped around him,’ I ask her. ‘That is Freya. She is my third cousin and Ember’s first cousin. I think they look a lot alike, except the height. Freya is tiny, but she is a fierce fighter,’ she responds.

I can’t believe this. All of the major allies have found mates within the Dragons. I am pretty sure that some of my omegas and warriors have as well. We will have to have a huge get together to see if any of the other packs can find mates within the others. I am pulled from my thoughts as I feel Mina wrap her arms around my neck. I smile down at her and kiss her. “I think we were going to do something before all of this happened,” Mina whispers in my ear. I am positive that MJ heard. He sends me a smirk and nods. I take that as an OK to go. I pick her up and run us up to our room before anyone can stop us.

I was painfully hard by the time I got us in our room. I slammed the door shut with my foot and threw Mina onto the bed. She giggled as her body bounced a little. I stalked over to her, pinning her with my gaze. She was my prey, and I would get my prey. She looks at me with lust filled eyes, “I need you Jace,” she says in the sexiest voice I have ever heard. I can smell her arousal. I rip my clothes off and pounce onto her, pinning her between my arms. I kiss her hard and rip her top off. I reach down to her pants and rip those off as well as her panties. ‘Mate should not wear those. Too much clothing to remove,’ Xavier pants out. ‘As much as I want to agree with you, I don’t want others to see her like that,’ I respond, moving my hands over her body, enjoying the sparks as our tongues dance together. Her moans are like candy to me. She arches her back as my hand gets to her breast. I lightly pinch her n****e causing her to moan more. I can feel how wet she is for me. I waste no time to enter her. I thrust hard into her making her scream in pleasure. She plants her hands on my shoulders and her nails dig into my skin. I growl out and Xavier takes control. “Hello little mate. Do you like it when I claim you like this,” he growls out. She screams out, “Yes Alpha!” Xavier growls as he pounds into her. She meets him thrust for thrust. She screams out her release as Xavier growls out his. “Did I hurt you love?” Xavier asks. “No Xavier, you did not. I rather enjoyed it,” she says giving him a kiss. He smirks and give me back control.

I pick her up and carry her to the bathroom and start the shower. I sit down on the shower bench and have her straddle me. She begins to ride me as the warm water flows down her back. I quickly stand and pin her against the tile with her legs wrapped around me. I continue to thrust into her as she moans. As I feel her getting close to her release, I move my hand to her hair gripping and pulling it down to expose her neck to me. I extend my canines and bite her marking spot again, causing her to scream out in pleasure as she explodes around me. I quickly follow, spilling my seed into her. I pull out and set her on her feet.

I look at my mate. She smiles at me with a s*x dazed look. I smirk at her, proud that I have such an effect on her. I grab a luffa and some soap and wash my mate. After I finish and get her rinsed, she takes the luffa from me and washes me. Xavier is purring as she moves the luffa in circle along my body. Who knew that being washed by your mate would be so intimate? Once we were done, we got dressed and headed back down to the pack and Dragons.
