Jace POV

We head to the buffet line to get lunch. I am drawing little circles on Mina’s back enjoying the feeling of having my mate with me and just taking her in when I hear my mother yell from across the room, “Jace Michael Black, you are in so much trouble for not telling me that you have found your mate. You and I are going to have words young man.” I blush at my mother using my full name but Mina giggles and winks at me, “Don’t worry, my dad still uses my full name when I am in trouble.” “Oh really, how often are you in trouble?” I reply with a raised eyebrow. I can see that mischievous twinkle in her eye as she responds, “enough for me not to forget me middle name.” By the time our little conversation is over my mother is standing next to us. She pulls Mina into a hug and cries, “I was so worried that Jace would never find his mate and he would have to take one of those awful girls that the council had chosen. I am so happy he found you. Oh my, aren’t you lovely. Jace she is gorgeous. You will have beautiful pups. Oh, I can’t wait until you have pups. I am going to be a grandmother.” Mina pales a little as my mother keeps rambling. Even I am floored by how far my mom went in the first few sentences of meeting Mina.

“Whoa mom, slow down. We only met a few hours ago and you are already talking about pups and being a grandma, while I’m sure that will happen, let Mina and I get to know one another first and I also need to make her my Luna,” I say trying to slow my mom down and comfort Mina letting her know that I do not expect her to just get pregnant and pop out pups. Mina looks to me with a grateful smile. “Oh yes, yes. Of course. I’m just so excited to meet you.” She says but does not seem to want to let Mina go. ‘Sorry Gem,’ I link before quickly closing the link and saying, “Mom, did you get to meet MJ yet?” I ask knowing that she hasn’t. Her eyes narrow on me and she lets go of Mina. “No, who is MJ and why should I meet him?” she asks. “He is Gem’s mate,” I state with a smile, leaving out that he is also Mina’s brother. Her eyes widen in joy and she looks around the dining hall furiously. I know that the are not in here. “Well, it doesn’t look like they are here. They will have to show up at some point.” She says as she looks behind me and sees my father standing there smiling.

“OK, I will find us a place to eat and talk. How many do I need to find a place for?” She says. “Um well, hold on,” Mina says as I assume, she links someone. “OK, I got word that my cousin Steele and MJ’s Beta Blade have a spot outside. They are sitting with someone named Stacey. I don’t know who that is, do you?” She questions. “Is it Stacey Blackfur?” I ask her. She links again and then confirms that is the name. “OK, I know who that is and will head that way,” my mom replies and heads towards the back exit. “Who is Stacey Blackfur,” Mina asks me. “She is my sister,” Dylan responds. “Stacey just linked me saying that she has found her mate. I think his name is Steele,” Dylan continues. “Oh, that’s great! Steele found his mate. He is also Ember’s brother. Now we just need to find Blade’s mate and we will all be a happy family,” she giggles out.

We finally get through the line and get our food and head towards the back yard. I look over and notice that Devon is carrying two plates. ‘Devon, why do you have two plates?’ I link him. ‘Because Stella just parked and is on her way in. She found out I found my mate and wanted to come meet her. Plus, she is the beta’s sister, she has responsibilities within the pack leadership,’ he replies. That is true. She has been acting as the beta female to fill the role so the pack wouldn’t suffer. She said it gave her something to do until she found her mate.

We reach the back yard and see Blade, the one I assume is Steele, Stacey, and my mother sitting on the grass. We head over to them and sit down when I hear a high-pitched squeal coming from behind me. I know that it is Stella. Mina looks at me questioning, “That is Stella. She is Devon’s sister and is excited to meet Cara and you,” I tell her. As soon as I finish speaking Blade is on his feet. We all look up and he is staring straight behind us. I turn around and notice that Stella has stopped running and is staring back at Blade. “I bet you Blade and Stella are mates,” I hear Mina say to Cara. Cara just laughs and blade runs up to Stella. He pulls her into him and does the same thing I did with Mina when we met. “Yep, mates,” Cara shouts out laughing. Devon laughs, “and another sibling set.” Blade and Stella sit down and we all start eating.

After we eat, we start talking about each other and just getting to know one another. “So, Jace and Dylan, I notice that your names are similar and you seem to be friends. What is your relationship?” Max asks. “Well, about five generations back the Black Diamond pack got so big that the alpha and his younger brother decided to split the pack and move part of it onto an adjoining territory. They also changed the name slightly so that it was a distinctively different but close enough to the Black Diamond name that it would be known that they are related. So, in short, we are cousins quite a bit removed and strong allies,” I respond. Max nods his head in understanding.

Mina POV

After my dad publicly accepted us, and then I was introduced as the future Luna and dragon princess, I glanced towards the table that held the councilmen. They looked pissed. ‘I wonder if they were planning to take control of Jace and Dylan’s packs by forcing them to mate with their chosen women. That would be two very strong packs under their thumbs,’ Sapphire snarls out. ‘That is an interesting idea. Maybe something we should mention to Jace and Dylan later. I don’t feel like this whole ordeal is over. I feel like something is going to happen, we are going to have to keep an eye those three bimbos, at least while we are here,’ I say and then close the link. The meeting was interesting at first and then got boring once other groups started arguing over petty stuff that should be discussed privately with a mediator. At some point during the squabbling, Dylan leans towards my father and MJ and introduces himself and asks to speak about an alliance in order to keep our people safe and Ember happy. ‘Oh, how sweet, Ember has a good man. Toby will be pleased that she will be taken care of,’ Sapphire says, I nod in agreement. The meet drags on longer until finally we are dismissed.

We all exit the meeting hall and dad asks Jace and Robert if the meetings always take that long and are always that pointless. They say yes, ‘Great!’ I think. I can tell dad likes Jace and Robert, they think a lot like him in strategy and diplomacy. I think we are all going to get along great.

We head to the buffet line, Jace is drawing little circles on my back and I am just enjoying it when I hear, “Jace Michael Black, you are in so much trouble for not telling me that you have found your mate. You and I are going to have words young man.” Jace blushed and I giggled at him, “Don’t worry, my dad still uses my full name when I am in trouble.” He asked how often that was, ‘more than you will admit,’ Sapphire snorts. I get pulled into a hug and his mother is talking about us having kids. I pale a little, I mean, I just met him about five hours ago. Jace rescued me with mentioning that fact and that we would have kids in time. I smile at the thought of giving him little whelps, ‘the wolves call them pups,’ Sapphire interjects. He also tries to divert her by mentioning MJ. ‘Smart’ Sapphire says. His mom settles down and asks about getting a spot and how many people. I link Blade and Steele. Apparently, Steele found his mate, someone named Stacey. I let her know. She leaves to find them. Dylan says that Stacey is his sister. ‘Now this is getting very interesting. Ember and Steele are also mated to siblings, alpha siblings at that,’ Sapphire comments. I nod in agreement.

We get our food and head to the back area. Steele is sitting with whom I assume is Stacey, they look cute together, and she is Dylan’s sister. The Moon Goddess is paring a lot of strong wolves with the strongest dragons, this is getting even more interesting.

As we started eating, I heard a squeal and notice Blade freeze. His eyes were narrowed in on something behind me. I turn around and see a woman with curly brown hair that fell to her shoulders standing frozen staring back at Blade, I smirk and tell Cara that I bet they are mates. Blade gets up and runs to her. I turn around as he has his first moment with his mate. I smile and link dad, 'it seems that our family is being blessed today.' He nods at me but says nothing. I can tell he is thinking. Dad asks about Jace and Dylan’s relationship and Jace explains they are cousins very much removed and longtime allies that have territories next to each other. I link Cara and Ember,' this is great, we will be close together still. I really think we can help the wolves and they can help us; this has to be why we are all mated to each other’s allies and siblings,' they nod but say nothing. MJ says we should do dinner tonight to talk alliances and other stuff. This will be good, Jace and I can spend more time together without the council and that bimbo watching us. We finish eating and I see MJ take Gem off alone.

I look at Jace and smile, "do you think we can spend some time together, just us?" He smiles at me and stands pulling me up with him. "I was thinking the same thing but it looks like the place I wanted to go is being occupied, " He says glancing over at MJ and Gem. "There is another beach on the side of the house that no one goes to, come on," He says as he grabs my hand and pulls me along. I am more than happy to go anywhere with this man. We reach the bench; he sits and pulls me into his lap. I wrap my arms around his neck. He buries his face into my neck inhaling deeply. I moan in pleasure as his teeth scrape against my marking spot. Heat pools between my legs and I can feel his d**k harden beneath me. I pull my head back to look him in the eyes. He puts one hand on the back of my neck and the other around my waist, pulls me close and crashes his lips onto mine. Sparks explode as he devours my lips. He nips my lower lip asking for permission to enter my mouth. I grant him his request and part my lips, he plunges his tongue in and immediately dominated me. It was such a turn on. We broke our heated kiss, both out of breath. "Mmmm. I can smell your arousal sweetheart. It's making it very difficult to control my wolf," He says while kissing my neck. I giggle, "Sapphire wants to come out and say hello as well. She wanted to jump you the moment we laid eyes on you." Suddenly Jace's eyes turn dark blue and in a lower husky voice I hear, "I would very much like to meet Sapphire, I am glad to meet you finally. Jace has been hogging you today." This must be his wolf. I feel Sapphire push forward and take control, I can still hear what is going on and take control back if need be but she really wants to say hi, plus she gets snippy if she doesn't get what she wants. "Hello, love. I am Sapphire, your human is quite handsome and sweet, I imagine you are as well," she purrs out. Jace's wolf chuckles, "I imagine you are just as gorgeous as your human. My name is Xavier, I am looking forward to spending time with you in my form and you in yours. Oh, the things I want to do to..." Jace's eyes go back to normal and Sapphire sighs, "you cut him off at the good part." "Don't worry love, you will spend time with him soon. Can I please have Mina back?" Jace asks. Sapphire smiles and kisses him sweetly and gives me control back. My lips are still on his and I smile, "Sapphire is very strong willed, it seems like she likes Xavier, they will have to be let out soon." "I agree," He says before he kisses me again. I get a link from my dad saying that we should go so we can prepare for tonight. I tell Jace this and we head towards the front. We stop to the side of the steps and he pulls me into a hug not wanting to let me go.

MJ POV

After everything that has happened, I have been going over in my head what the next steps need to be. As we are all sitting on the grass eating dad asks about Dylan and Jace’s packs. After hearing Jace’s explanation I made a decision. “I think that we should have dinner tonight as a group and discuss where we are going and discuss alliances,” I state looking at my father and then at Gem. She smiles at me. Everyone agrees and goes their separate ways. I stand up and hold my hand out for Gem, she takes it and I help her up. I lead her over to the bench that we sat on when we first met. I sit down and pull her into my lap and wrap my arms around her. I burry my nose into her neck and inhale her scent. Just that alone makes my d**k hard. I know that she can feel it. She giggles and wiggles her a** on me, making me even harder. I groan into her neck. She giggles and kisses my forehead. “I will take care of that tonight after dinner,” she whispers in my ear. Storm takes over, “oh will you my little mate?” She smiles, and says, “it’s nice to meet you, what is your name?” “My name is Storm, when will I get to meet your wolf my love?” Storm asks. “I think we can make that happen tonight. If you would like to go for a run,” she responds. Storm nods and nuzzles into her neck she moans and I am able to take back control. “Sorry about that, Storm has been bugging me about letting him out all day. He decided to stop asking and just come out and meet you. What did you think of him?” I ask. She laughs and says, “he was very charming and asked when he could meet my wolf Sapphire. I told him tonight might work if he wants to go for a run.” “I think that that would be nice except, he doesn’t do much running through the woods, he’s a little big. He will probably run until he gets cramped and then will fly from there,” I tell her.

My dad walks up to us, “MJ, we should head back so we can get ready for tonight.” “OK dad,” I say and he walks away. “Are you coming with me or are you going back with your brother?” I ask. “Hmmm, I think I need to go with my brother and parents otherwise my mom will not let me live this down. She is going to ask so many questions. Honestly, I don’t know if any alliance talk will happen tonight because my mother is going to be grilling both you and Mina,” she replies. I nod and we get up. I offer her my arm and she wraps hers around mine and we head into the mansion. We walk through the halls and head towards the front door. We walk through the front doors and down the steps. I see Mina and Jace to the side, Devon and Cara are off a little way off, Blade and Stella are next to one of our SUVs, Steele and Stacey are by the other car, and Dylan and Ember are near Jace and Mina. I smile to myself; our family is finally happy, we have all found our mates and we are going to be moving forward and out of hiding.

Robert and Linda walk out of the mansion and Linda says, “hey, why don’t we all just stay together. We can cook and everything together. While me and some others are cooking, the others can talk about the alliances that way that gets done and over dinner we can get to know each other and talk casually.” Robert smiles at Linda, “And that is why you were an excellent Luna and an amazing mate.” Dad walks out and smiles at that announcement and says, “well, I think we should go to our place, we have enough food to feed an army, partially because those three, eat like and army.” He laughs pointing at me, Blade and Steele. With that we load up into the cars and head to our rented house.
