Third Person pov:

"you are My Mate, Aurora. Do you hear that??", Zion said, for which Rory only looked like she was not in her right mind to process what he was saying to her right then.

“ I am your MATE!!!! “, Zion yelled in frustration looking at the face of the little petite girl in front of him.

The moment the two girls saw Zion in the entrance of the room, they both were shocked, and surprised at the same time.

Casey was surprised as from the complicated look on the face of her alpha, she can clearly tell that, that the big bad alpha guy has heard what Rory had said a few minutes ago.

But what she was more curious about was the fact, that how much did that alpha guy must have heard to have such a green ugly looking face with steams coming out of both of his ears.

Casey thought that Zion looked like he was pissed off at a whole lot of a different level. And what she was afraid of the most, was that he should not have heard the entire conversation, that they both had in between them a while ago.

Even though Casey wished, and hoped that he should not have heard the main key points, but she knew deep inside her heart that it was not the case, and that Whatever he have to hear, Zion must have heard it neat, and clear, as she could tell from the ugly jealous monster look that took it’s residence on the face of that alpha guy.

Zion’s entire demeanor looked a little scary, and his vibes screamed that his inner wolf was only a few minutes away from surfacing, and taking control of his human body.

Casey secretly prayed to the moon goddess that Zion should not make any rash decisions, and say something out of ordinary, to make Rory to be scared with his rash actions.

Like the real relationship between him, and Rory.

As Casey knew that Rory was still not both emotionally, and mentally prepared to accept her new relationship with him, out of no where.

She knew that her innocent little friend would freak the hell out of her mind.

On the other hand, Rory suddenly felt an over dominant, and over bearing feeling around her, and her surroundings too changed a bit, compared to the previous some what calm environment.

She looked up in between her cries, and blinked her eyes to make it clear from the tears that was flowing from it, to see what had suddenly changed around her, and her surroundings.

Through her tear filled eyes, she looked up, and found that Alpha Zion was standing at the entrance of the room.

She was both nervous, and embarrassed as she was afraid that she might be judged by him, for the past things that had happened in her life.

She never wanted other people in her new home, to get to know about her dark secrets from the past, from which she was running away like her life dependent on it, and those secrets that she had wanted to hide at any costs.

But what shocked both the girls was that Alpha Zion did not say anything, and looked at them, mostly looked at Rory, with an indescribable emotion running across his face.

Zion appearance made Casey to hold her heart in her hands, and Rory to be nervous about on how much did Alpha Zion had heard.

Looking at the Alpha coming towards in their direction with a look of determination on his face, both the girls were too stunned to react immediately, at the same time.

Zion stopped in front of Rory, and slowly bent down to Rory’s height, and kneeled in front of her. Then he held her both arms in his broad, and huge looking hands.

Seeing that Rory was still not stopping from mumbling to herself, and blaming herself, he lost his composure, and finally broke the news.

“you are my mate, Aurora. Do you hear that??", he said, for which Rory only looked like she was not in her right mind to process what he was saying.

“ I am your MATE!!!! “, Zion yelled in frustration, looking at the face of the little petite girl in front of him.

But even after the dominant declaration of Zion, Rory did not seemed to accept it for a long time, so he brought her up along with him, stood up, and held her using his strength.

But what he can all see was that Rory was still not believing in his words.

“N…. No…. No…. It was not possible… Mat….Mate!?????? . I am not…. Not…it is not possible…. Not possible “, Rory started to mumble making both Casey, and Zion to frown in distress.

“look at me, Aurora…. Listen to me carefully…. You are my mate… My Destined Mate, with whom I will spend the rest of my life with, until I leave this world after my death“, Zion declared in a domineering manner.

But Rory was not in the state to accept, and not in the sane mind to realise the contents of the her words.

So to stop Rory from being hyper, and make her come out of her denial state, and bravely believe that what he was telling was the truth, Zion did the unexpected, the next moment.

He held Rory’s one side of her face in his rough callous hand, and gently caressed it.

Within a blink of an eye, he leaned to the height of Rory, at her eye level, and kissed her forehead, sending a shiver to run through his spine, due to the sparks that ran through his entire body, due to the physical touch.

He kept his thin pair of lips on her half moon like looking forehead, and let it linger there for the next few seconds.

After a few seconds, Zion made a space in between him, and Rory, shocking everyone present in the room.

As that mere action of kissing her forehead, made both Rory, and Casey to be shocked to their core.

What Casey did not wanted to happen has happened right in front of her eyes, making her to be dumbfounded, and speechless.

But the real one who was really shocked by this action of Zion, was none other than Zion himself.

Because that action had nothing to do with him. The one to take full blame to this action, was Zion’s inner wolf.

But before, Zion can say, or do anything to explain, Rory looked at him with those big rabbit like red teary eyes.

And the next second, she fainted, and fell in to the arms of Zion, shocking both him, and Casey.

“what is it with our mate??. She always faints so easily”, Zion’s inner wolf wondered out loud.

“shut the hell up, you stupid wolf”, Zion snapped at his inner wolf, annoyed by his actions.

Zion Xavier Pov:

I was freaking the hell out of my mind, due to the high anxiety level of mine.

Truth to be told, my mind was totally went to blank, and I did not know what to do next.

I simply walked back, and forth in a way of measuring the length of the floor in the room, in my tensed mood.

I could not sit, nor stand still in a single place, and I ran my hand through my hair in my nervous state.

‘You stupid, good for nothing hot tempered guy… can’t you control your own emotions????.

If you had done that, and had been even more level headed than that, and maintained your darn patience, this sort of current situation would not have occurred to you… hum!!?…..

Now enjoy the freaking consequences for losing your God darn nasty temper of yours…… ‘, Zion chastised himself for being such a reckless one in the end.

It was all because of the fact that he lost his temper in a whim, and all because of that, his little mate fainted in shock, and was now resting in her room in the pack house.

She continuously tried to be as invisible as possible, not wanting to be put on the spot light, since she came to this pack.

But She repeatedly blamed, and belittled herself for her current unfortunate fate, and given her timid nature, getting to know that I am her second chance mate, must have been so overwhelming for her, and it made her to faint on the spot.

I know this all too well, because when I held her in my embrace, and pressed my lips on her forehead, I could clearly feel her little petite body tremble in my hold, and the rate of her heart beating at a rapid speed, as if it would jump out of her chest region, due to the sudden shocking events, I could remember everything little thing from that moments.

About how her body trembled out of fear, and had forgotten the word about 'how to stand still'.

‘ hey man… do not freak out… Everything will work out according to our will’, my inner wolf said in a concerned tone, making me to blow up my top in anger.

“shut up!.. Shut the hell up!!!! “, I snapped at him, as I was already more riled up due to my mate’s condition now.

“why are you being a jerk, and barking at me??! “, my inner wolf asked in his edgy voice, as he too was worried hell about the condition of our mate.

But I do not care about his state anymore. It was all because of that stupid bugger's work that we were in such a nerve wrecking condition, worrying about our mate, right now.

“Oh really!!.. You did not freaking know why I am being snarky at you??”, I gritted out the words through my teeth, making my inner wolf to hung his head down, and put his ears in a down casted way.

You jerk. It was all because of your impatient stupid self. You went ahead, and disclosed the matter about us being her second chance mate.

You told Rory that she was our destined mate, out of nowhere. And that too in what condition??..

Rory was already emotionally weak, and her feelings were all over the place, due to her opening up her deep wounds from the past again.

And you had to pick that exact same time, and drop a bigger bomb on her head, making her to lose her mind.

Damn him.. How I wish to kick his ass several times, to vent out my frustration. But my bad luck, I could not do that, even though I wish to do that several times.

“I know, man. I had messed up in a great way, and made the situation even more complicated, I am sorry for that, okay..

But what am I supposed to do in that situation.

Our mate was crying her heart out, saying that her mate had rejected her, and no one loves her, and that she was not worthy enough to get the love of other people, when we are there!!.

Her second chance mate, who loves her dearly, and more than anything else in this entire world.

I wanted her to know that she was not a worthless person as she thinks about herself, and that she is so precious to us, and we would…no..We will love, and protect her with our life!!”, my inner wolf said to me back, making me to be at a loss for words.

I stopped measuring the floor, and went near the couch, that was present in the corner of my office room, and sat on it without any spirit in me.

I let out a breath heavily, and ran my hand through my hair, successfully messing up my hair, for the nth number of time in the last few hours.

“It was not like that, buddy. Try to understand the situation first. I did not blame you for saying those things to our mate.

What I am telling you was that, we should have been more careful in handling this topic, and should have disclosed this matter to our mate in an even less shocking way.

Now see, what had happened. Rory could not handle the news very well, and now she was mentally exhausted, and fainted on us“, I said to my inner wolf in a calm tone, trying to make him see the tricky condition we were struck in.

“I am sorry. I should have been more careful. I am sorry, man“, my inner wolf said to me in a guilty voice, making me to shake my head silently.

I held my head in my hand, and propped my elbows on my thighs for support.

I just prayed to the moon goddess that Rory should wake up soon, and to give strength to both her, and me to overcome this tricky situation of ours.

I kept my mind link open as I was eagerly waiting for the news from Casey, as she was keeping an eye on Rory, and staying by Rory’s side right now.

And the moment I thought about this, as if, my prayers were heard, Casey reached out to me through the mind link between us.

“Zion…. Rory woke up”, Casey said in a complicated tone, clearly hinting to me, that the condition in there was not so good, and that I am going to have a rough day dealing with it.

“okay. I got it… I will be there in a few minutes. Thank you, Casey “, I replied, and closed my mind link, and put a barrier in my mind, as I do not want other people to disturb me, when I was sorting things out with my mate.

I rubbed my hands along my face, and took a few deep breaths. Running my hand through my hair, I made up my hair roughly, and stood up from the couch.

With a resolute thought in my mind, I went, and opened the door of my office room, and my legs automatically went in the direction of Rory’s room.
