Confrontation

Many Weeks Later Carrying the book of the dead into the underground cave, Gold stood close to the pool of blue water as she lowered the book. "Zulu, come forth!" she said. Immediately, the blue water piled up and transformed into an old man with a long golden staff. His appearance is see-through as he made a low bow to Gold, "My princess, you are welcome!" he said. "I am no longer a princess. I have lost my dignity as the daughter of Leviathan for siding with the humans," Gold replied with a sad look on her face. "You can't deny royalty because it runs in your blood. Your father Leviathan is still the king of all beasts and that makes you a princess," Zulu replied with a low tone. "Can we talk about this later, I am here for something of great importance," said Gold. Many Weeks Earlier "Let him go now," said Mr. Luke the coffee shop owner. "Or what old man?" Silas replied while holding Mike against the wall. "Or am gonna hit you with this baseball bat," Mr. Luke replied as he positioned the baseball bat in his hands. "Screw you old man. Mind your f*****g damn business," Silas said as he frowns at Mr. Luke. "Mike is my business because he works for me in my coffee shop," said Mr. Luke. At this time customers began to stare, "You always have an old man fighting your battles for you," Silas said as he kicked Mike in his lower abdomen and pushes him away. "What are you all looking at?" Silas asked sternly as he points at the customers who have been staring. Mr. Luke without hesitation helped Mike up and after he has dusted him up he asked, "Are you alright?" "I am fine sir," Mike replied. "You can take today off," Mr. Luke said to Mike. "That's not necessary sir," Mike replied. "I insist! Take today off," Mr. Luke said. "Who will cover for me?" Mike asked as he glanced at Mr. Luke. "There are plenty of customers today and I need to be here to help out," Mike said as he puts his face down. "Don't worry about it, I will take care of it," Mr. Luke insisted as he led Mike out through the back door. As Mike walked down the streets, Silas who has been waiting for him in a corner followed him. Noticing Silas was right behind him, "Oh no!" Mike exclaimed as he immediately took to his heels but unfortunately for him, one of Silas' friends known as Jake was already waiting at the other end for Mike and as soon as he saw Mike, he knocked Mike down with a nightstick. "You have no place to run to, punk!" Jake said as he started beating up Mike with the nightstick. Holding Mike by the collar, Silas said to him, "Stay away from Christie, or the next time I see you, you will have yourself to be blamed!" Minutes later Mike managed to pick himself up as onlookers make fun of him, "He's weak!" said one of the onlookers as they hauled insult at him. Filled with shame, Mike ran to the shore of the Island. Not quite long as he was seated at the shore, Christie walked up to him," I heard what happened today. The beating Silas and Jake gave you," she said. "Why are you here?" Mike asked sternly. "Have you come to mock me too?" Mike added. "You disgust me Mike and I have told you to stop writing to me. You are nothing but a jerk," Christie said. "We use to be best of friends, what happened to that?" Mike asked as he glances at Christie with surprise. "I no longer want your friendship," Christie harshly replied. "I can't keep up with a loser like you," Christie added as she walks out on Mike. It was already dark when Mike stood to his feet to head home, suddenly his eyes caught up with a glittering seashell lying at the shoreline, "What a beauty!" he said as he started walking towards the glittering seashell. After admiring the seashell, he turned to leave but suddenly the seashell started making a rattling sound which caught the attention of Mike again. "What's happening?" Mike rhetorically asked as he turned swiftly only for him to see the seashell moving with a rattling sound. Being curious, Mike bent to pick up the seashell and immediately he touched the seashell, flash of light traveling like fast lightning slammed Mike to one of the boats.
