The following morning, as everyone was going about their normal business, the fishermen approach their boat and saw Mike lying unconscious beside it, "What the hell!" One of the fishermen exclaimed on seeing Mike. "Is that not Mike?" they asked one another. "What is he then doing here at the shore?" the first fisherman asked as they all laughed and make fun of him. "This is not funny," said the first fisherman. "He is not moving," he added paying close attention to Mike. A few minutes later, Mike was rushed to the clinic by the fishermen as they have the doctor look into his current state of unconsciousness. As Mike was being attended to, Peter his best friend rushed into the clinic, "What happened?" he asked one of the nurses at the clinic. "The fishermen brought him a few minutes ago. He was unconscious when they brought him in," the nurse narrates. "Will he be fine?" Peter asked with curiosity. "He will, I guess," said the nurse. "There is nothing to guess," Peter reply. "Maybe you should wait for the doctor. He will be in a better position to give you feedback," the nurse said. As the doctor was checking Mike and was about to run a series of tests on him, Mike mysteriously sat up on the hospital bed, "Oh f**k!" the doctor exclaimed. "You startled me," said the doctor. "Where the hell am I?" Mike asked as he looks around. "You are at the clinic," the doctor replied. "How are you feeling?" the doctor asked. "I am feeling great," Mike replied. "And if you don't mind, I need to get to my working place," Mike said as he started walking out from the door. However, the doctor ran after him saying, "You need to be examined before you could go anywhere." "That's my call to make," Mike replied. "What the hell is going on?" Peter asked as he walked up to Mike. "I have no f*****g idea," Mike replied. "Mr. Luke will be angry with me if I go to work late today. You mind driving me?" Mike requested. "Of course buddy," Peter replied as they both walked out of the clinic. Arriving at Mr. Luke's coffee shop, Mr. Luke frowns at Mike, "You are late!" Mr. Luke said. "I am sorry sir," Mike apologizes. "I need an explanation other than you are sorry," Mr. Luke said. "I just woke up in the hospital and I don't know how my ass got there," Mike said as he puts his face down. "What happened? Are you okay?" Mr. Luke asked as he stares at Mike with curiosity expressing concern. "I am fine," Mike replied. "The nurse said that some fishermen found me lying unconscious at the shoreline," Mike narrates. "Are you sleepwalking?" Mr. Luke asked with a smile on his face. "I have never experienced that and I don't want to," Mike replied. "You better not! Or you find yourself sinking in the waters," Mr. Luke cautions. "I will be more careful," Mike replied. "Good! Go and attend to the customers," Mr. Luke said to Mike as he handed a tray to him. "Hey, jerk!" Silas called out referring to Mike. "We need two cups of coffee over here, pronto," Silas added as Christie laughed over it. Mike reluctantly carried a tray containing two cups of coffee to Silas' table. As he drops the coffee, Silas made fun of him in front of Christie as they both laughed at Mike. Not quite long as Mike was at the counter, trying to carry another coffee to other customers, a gun was fired in the air inside Mr. Luke's coffee shop, "Everyone stay still or the next bullet goes through your brains!" said the shooter. "Your life belongs to you but your jewelry and money belong to me. Make your choice!" the shooter added as he points the gun around. Immediately Silas stands to his feet to flee the scene, the shooter shot at him in the leg, "I told you all your life belongs to you and now I have to make an example out of him," said the shooter as he started walking towards Silas. "Please spare him," Christie cried out. "What are we going to do?" Mike asked Mr. Luke as the rest of the customers froze in fear. "We do nothing," said Mr. Luke. "No this is not right," Mike said as he makes his way to the shooter. "Mike come back here," Mr. Luke said but reluctantly Mike ignored his boss. "Hey!" said Mike to the shooter. "Hey to you too!" the shooter replied as he has his gun pointed at Mike. "I hate to see her cry," Mike said. "Who are you talking about?" the shooter asked sternly. "I am talking about my friend over there that has been pleading with you to spare her boyfriend," Mike replied. "Hey! I am the guy with the gun!" said the shooter as he waved his gun at Mike. "You have to take what you want and go without hurting anyone else," Mike boldly said. "How dare you tell me what to do?" the shooter asked as he crackles his gun and pulled the trigger on Mike, "Bang!" "No!" Mr. Luke cried out.
