After our much-needed talk, Jennifer went to the kitchen to get some drinks and snacks ready for our movie and cuddle, while my brothers and myself went upstairs to fetch Jennifer's mattress. John moved to get all the pillows and blankets off the bed and carried them downstairs. As Jason and I moved the mattress off the bed, I accidentally knocked over the lamp on the bedside table. Jason and I just looked at each other in horror as the lamp fell to the ground and the broken pieces were splayed out on the floor. "s**t! She's going to kill me!"I said horrified as Jason just started to laugh at me. We quickly took the mattress downstairs and saw that John had already moved all the furniture out of the way for the mattress.
