After dinner, we decided to spend the night with Jennifer, on the only condition that there would be no festivities when it came to bedtime. We weren't happy with the condition, but we went with it if it meant that we could spend time with her. We helped Jennifer clean the kitchen and wash the dishes before we headed out to the living room. "We should probably get the mattress upstairs again," I said starting to pick up all the pillows.
