Charlene’s P.O.V Beep!... My phone alarm rang! I looked at my phone with sleepy eyes; it is 530 am. I was thinking; It is too early... I don’t want to go to school but I have no choice ☹ I dragged myself out of bed, washed up and got dressed. I wore a black singlet, jeans and heels. I grabbed my jacket and bag before heading out earlier to grab my breakfast before queuing for the shuttle bus. Oh! I should introduce myself; my name is Charlene Carter. I’m 19 years old, a year two student studying at Republic Polytechnic. While I was queuing up for the shuttle bus, I got a text from the guy that I just started seeing recently, he said; Hey bub! How was your sleep? I’m on the way to school now. Can’t wait to see you later! Let’s sit together later alright. I replied; Hey bub! I had a good sleep, me too I’m waiting to take the shuttle bus to school. Can’t wait to see you too, Alright bub Let’s sit together Just right after I send out the text, the bus just arrived. I got in the bus, made myself comfortable. I had so many thoughts in my head about him, about our complicated past before we started dating but I wanted to nap first. My thoughts slowly drifted me to my sleep… -when I reached school- I sleepily made my way to class, the moment I saw him. I jumped in excitement. I said; Bub! (hugged him tightly and pecked him on the cheek) He said; Hey bub! You look so cute in your outfit today, the food that you have smells good too I replied; Thank you bub! You look handsome too, Let’s go in and share the food together. The food smells so good, I’m so hungry. After we sat down, I said; Let’s eat bub! I’m so hungry I bought Macdonald breakfast for the both of us.  ---------------  Kai P.O.V While, I’m walking in to school; thoughts filled my head about Charlene. She is such a beautiful girl; I feel grateful to be dating her after the complicated history we have. When I was about to reach class, I saw her. It made me smile, she looked so cute in her outfit today. I love when she wears heels, she looks so feminine I said; Hey bub! You look so cute in your outfit today, the food that you have smells good too She replied; Thank you bub! You look handsome too, Let’s go in and share the food together. The food smells so good, I haven’t had my breakfast as I was waiting for her food. I dig in as soon as I saw it, my stomach was growling to the smell of it. Macdonald breakfast was our go-to breakfast. -After we ate- The lecturer came in, Charlene pecked me on the cheek and gave me a cheeky grin. She said; Let’s do this bub! We can get good grades together today. I replied; Yes! We can do this! When the lesson started, I was listening with one ear at the same being deep in thought. I was thinking about Char; Oh! Let me explain our history! Char and I met on i********:, she messaged me first on i********:, it was how it all started, we started as friends with benefits first before we started to date. I admit we have our difficulties in trust issues and communication, but we conquered our challenges together as a team. Both of us had a complicated past, for Char; she has been through multiple heartbreaks with numerous guys, she lost herself deeply in sleeping around with people. For me, I used to have a toxic night life, I partied out late night every two to three days but ever since our path crossed, we changed for the better for each other in a great way. The day flew by so fast, unknowingly; it was time for presentation already. I knew Char was afraid of doing presentations, I gave her a hug and said; Char, don’t be afraid okay! You can do it bub She replied; Thank You bub! I’m scared but I will try my best -after presentation- Charlene’s P.O.V While we were presenting, I was feeling scared because it is the first time presenting in front of my new class but with him by my side, I have the motivation to push myself to do my best. Lesson is about to end already! I was thinking; I’m so happy class is about to end hehe, I’m going to have a dinner date with him later. Suddenly, my phone vibrated; It was from Bryan, a former FWB. He said; Hey! Where are you? Want to meet? I miss you. I replied; Hey, I’m not free. He replied: Come on... I really miss you ☹ I admit, I was a little moved from what he said but I decided to just ignore it. Kai said; Bub! Are you ready to go eat, I want to eat ramen I replied: Sure! Let’s go bub (smiled at him) However, he kept spamming me with a ton of texts which made my phone vibrate a lot. I’m scared that Terrence would know about him texting me as he is quite possessive, but towards him I have a hard time hiding secrets from him. He knows my character very well when I try to lie about things. I peeked at my phone when he went to the toilet before we headed off to our date, Bryan is losing it in his texts which makes me annoyed. He said; HEY! I hate it when people ignore my texts, and you are testing my patience. You watch your back! A ton of thoughts went through my mind, if he wants to get physical with me in public, I know how to save myself so I shouldn’t worry so much plus I don’t want to be with him who makes me feel unworthy of myself. When he came out, he said; Let’s go bub! I want to eat sushi than after that we go eat ice cream okay I replied; Sure Bub! Let’s go I’m hungry already. (smiled at him) When we were eating, he was being so cuddly and sweet. He fed me sushi a few times, It warms my heart when he was being so sweet.
