Angela awoke wrapped in Jameson's arms. Gingerly untangling herself, she reached for her phone to check the time. They were supposed to be at the office in 10 minutes. Still dressed in his suit from yesterday, Jameson looked exhausted. Not having the heart to wake him, she snuck out of the room and called Marcus to explain they wouldn't be in today. The assistant office administrator could handle things alone.
The main house was pleasantly quiet; the birds were twittering away outside. She wavered in the hall, unsure if she should return to Jameson or take a shower and change. Having realized her feelings for him, she was very aware of how she looked in front of him. Wanting to look cute for him, she texted him in case he woke up. She'd be right back; she just needed to go freshen up.
