Chapter 1

"You're fired." He said without looking and care for the person in front of him. 

"Sir?" Shock an ani nang lalaki habang hindi makapaniwala sa narinig.

The guy in front of him was reading a paper na hawak nito na para bang wala itong narinig. He gritted his teeth para ma control ang sarili. 

"Sir? I've been working in this company for more than thirty years. You can't fire me without a valid reason." Ani nito na may halong pagtitimpi. 

"I can. I'm the boss remember." He said in a serious tone. His tone was full of confidence and authority. Na para bang siya ang hari at ang lalaking na sa harap nito ay isang alipin lamang. 

"Hahaha..." The guy laughed looking at him na para bang isang malaking joke ang lahat nang ito. Hindi siya makapaniwala na ang lalaking ito ang bagong may ari nang KL companya. 

Alexandro Keith Marques was known for being a devil in the business industry. He was cruel and ruthless to all the people around him. He didn’t believe in mercy in every aspect of life. Making him the top of the business and high society. He was feared by everyone because in just one look he can make your life living hell. He was like a villain in every story a wealthy and ruthless one. But even if he was ruthless he was also known for being handsome and hot in every lady in high and low society.

"If you are done you can leave. " Alexandro said and read the contract on his hand again. 

"Hah...You really are cruel you know..." The guy said in hatred and leave his office. 

Alexandro didn't mind that the old man left the company. He was the old secretary of the previous boss of this company and he knows where his loyalty is. The previous boss sells his company after nalulung sa sugal at nagkabaon baon sa utang and because he finds the company profitable. Binili niya ito. The KL company was a construction company that has a net worth of millions per year. It would be a waste if mapupunta ito sa iba. If he can make it bigger, he can gain much of it. 

"Sir.." ani nang sekretarya niya. He look at him waiting for his  reply.

"Everything is settled, sir. We already fired the other employees that will be a big problem in the future." He said in a respectful tone. He only found out that there is a problem in the company after buying it. Corruption was widely spread in the company. Most of the projects in charge and head accounting were found to be involved in bribery and corruption, and if he would take the company he needs to clean it thoroughly. 

"Then let's start the second step." Alexandro smile devilishly. Kurt, his secretary smile and slightly bow his head before leaving his office. 

AFTER finishing the papers that he needs to review, Alexandro looked at the time in his office. '10:15'  He is 15 minutes late for his board meeting. Inayos niya muna and kanyang sarili bago lumabas papuntang conference room. Nang makapasok siya agad na nag tayuan ang board of directors para salubongin siya. Ngunit hindi niya ito pinansin at dumiritso sa kanyang upuan sa gitna ng round table. 

"Let's start the meeting." He said in a cold voice. The ten board of directors sit uncomfortably and look at each other. 

"It's great to know that great Marques will be the new owner of this company. It's reassuring that you will be the new president." Mr. Quinchow one of the board of directors said with a smile. Tumingin ito kay Alexandro na para bang natutuwa ito sa nangyayari. 

"Hahaha.. I agree Mr. Quinchow." Engr. Suhas said happily, He is one of the board and one of the pillars who founded KL company. Everyone easily agrees and start exchanging polite conversation with each other.

Alexandro didn't speak at nanatiling nakatingin lang sa kanila. He wanted to laugh while listening to them being uncomfortable in their seat. These old hags do they think of me as a moron. Trying to deceive me with their face and name, Hah!

"Kurt..." Alex called his secretary making them silent. Kurt put a folder on the table for each board member. Tahimik namang binuksan ng board members and folder at binasa. 

"What the... what is this Mr. Marques?" Director Feizhiza exclaimed habang hawak hawak and papeles sa kanyang kamay. Ang iba naman ay hindi makapaniwala sa nabasa at nanlamig. 

Alexandro can't help but smirk at them. "I didn't know that you can't read properly Mr. Feizhiza." He said with a smile on his face. Agad naman namula and mukha ni director Feizhiza habang mahinahun na umupo pero nananitili parin and kanyang pagtitimpi at galit. 

"President, what is the meaning of this?" Engr. Baoxing asks calmly waiting for his explanation. Everyone was worried about their life habang nakatingin sa pictures at papeles sa harap nila. 

"That's that...Do I need to explain the things that you did?" Alexandro said boringly making everyone sit uncomfortably. His index fingers slowly and continuously tap his armchair making everyone nervous.

"The files contain all the things you did in the past 3 years. The bribery and corruption that you did in this company. The misuse of company funds for personal uses. And as you can see in front of you it also contains your darkest secret that you don't want your family and other people know." Kurt explains habang nakatayo sa gitna at ina-ayos ang reading glasses niya.

"This is ridiculous... How dare you do this to us. We have shares in this company."  Director Tolmann shouted in front of Alexandro. 

"Hm? How vulgar... That's not the way you address someone who is now your boss." Alexandro said in a serious tone. Director Tolmann glare at him but didn't do anything. 

"Hah... well this is interesting..." Mrs. Natra said, one of the old board of directors and one of the pillars in the company. "Mr. Marques, what do you plan to do with this piece of paper?" She asks while looking at him. 

"It's a gift for all of you. I will give you two choices, first leave the company and sell your shares to me. The second one is to sell your shares to me and live your life quietly before I send all of that outside and to your family." Alexandro said at them. 

"Hah, You're giving us two choices but the same ending. I don't know if I would be thankful or curse you for doing this. " Mr. Takamora said with a grim face. "What if we decline, With money, we can fix this mess." He added making Alexandro's brow raise.  

"Hahahaha... That's if you have the money. Mr. Takamora looks like you forgot who I am. I am Alexandro Kieth Marques." Alexandro stated confidently and with authority. Most of them become uneasy because they know what his name represents. With his name, everyone would easily turn their back at them and forgot your existence in high society. They life would change in 360 degrees and they would end up living in hell.

"You can choose to stay and be my slave or leave quietly and sell your share." He firmly said while looking at them. Agad namang nag tinginan ang bawat isa, nag hihintay kong sino ang magsasalita o proprotesta. Minutes pass, ngunit nanatiling tahimik parin ang board of directors tinitimbang kong ano susunod na gagawin. Slowly, each one of them looked and signs the papers. 

Alexandro doesn't want to stay longer in here, Kaya naman nang matapos maka pag decide ang board kong sino ang aalis at mananatili, he quickly left the room with a grin on his face. He walked confidently toward the lobby with his devilish smile.
