The Miracle

Chapter 2

Alexandro Kieth Marques was born without love. His parents were married because of money and status, as he grows up he longs for love and cares from the people around him. But as he grows older, he realized that love and care are a luxurious feeling that he would never have, and as he gets older that feeling is slowly disappeared in his heart and mind.  He was a bright child with a simple dream of having a happy family but that dream was crush at a young age. Shaping him into who he was today. A cruel and ruthless person. 

"Kurt bring me the contract that I need for tomorrow's meeting." Ani ni Alexandro sa telepono. He was driving his car to the main branch of his company. 

AKM company was known to be an enterprise business of restaurants, hotels, and textiles, and now his new business is a construction company. Alexandro owns the AKM company who produces the top textile and food service in Asia. He alone has a net worth of billions on his account making him one of the wealthy people in Asia and the sole heir of a wealthy family in England, the Marques family. 

"Noted sir. I will bring it immediately. Is there anything else sir?" Ani ni kurt sa kabilang linya. 

"Good. That will be all. See you in the office." Alexandro ended the call. He was about to turn in the intersection when a figure appeared in his view. 

"Shit..." He cursed habang mabilis na nag brake. Ang kanyang ulo ay muntik nang sumalpok sa windshield nang sasakyan niya buti nalang ay agad siyang nakapag preno at na control ang kanyang sarili bago sumalpok. Nang maka recovered agad siyang bumaba upang tignan ang nabanga niya. 

Nang makababa siya sa sasakyan dahan dahan siyang nag lakad sa unahan nang kanyang sasakyan. He was hoping na sana hindi malala ang na tamong sugat nang kanyang nabanga dahil ayaw niyang lumaki pa ang nangyari, he can just give him the money as much as he wants. It would be easy if its a scammer, yung swindle sa daan na kapag may mamahaling saasakyan dumaan, agad na umaakting na na banga para makakuha ng pera. 'That would be great if its just money.'

Nakatayo laman si alexandro sa harap nang kanyang sasakyan habang nakatingin sa nabanga niyang nakahiga sa daan. It was a girl wearing a white simple dress. He was contemplating if he would left or leave her. Mukhang wala rin naman itong sugat. Hindi alam ni alexandro kong ano ang gagawin habang nakatingin sa babae at sa paligin niya. 

It was strange. There is no car and not even a living person walking around them. This intersection was famous for being the busiest road here in metro manila going to Makati City but it's strange that no one is passing. Huminga sya nang malalim at saka lumapit sa babae. 

"Hey...Miss?" Sinipa niya nang mahina ang paa nang babae para magising ito. Ngunit hindi ito gumalaw o nagpakita nag sign na gising ito. 

Alexandro can't help but feel frustrated in his situation. He is a very busy person but he is stuck in the middle of this intersection making sure that this swindle is alive. Sinipa niya ulit ang paa nito ngunit hindi parin gumalaw. He sighed and leaned over para makalapit siya nang konti sa babae. 

He extended his hand sa mukha nang babae to confirm kong humihinga ba ito. The face of the girl was covered kaya naman mahina niyang inalis ang buhok na humaharang sa kanyang mukha. Alexandro was dumbstruck while looking at her beautiful sleeping face. Hindi mapigilan ni alexandro na titigan ang maganda nitong mukha at mamangha sa taglay na ganda. She has creamy white skin and a slender face, a pointed small nose, and pinkish lips.  He was about to touch her lips when she ground and slightly open her eyes. 

He was back in his reverie nang gumalaw ito. His breath was taken away as he stares at her grey eyes, it was the most beautiful eyes that he have seen so far in his entire life. He was about to speak nang pumikit ito.

"Fuck... Hey? Miss? Miss?" Natatarantang tawag ni alexandro sa babae pero mukhang nawalan nanaman ito nang malay. He unconsciously carries her in his arms and carefully put her in the backseat of his car. 

Mabilis ang takbo ni alexandro sa malapit na ospital habang paminsan minsan ay tumitingin sa babeng nakahiga sa backseat nang kanyang sasakyan. Nangmakarating siya sa hospital, ma ingat niyang iniangat ang babae at dinala sa emergency room. 

"Excuse me? I need help...." Alexandro called a nurse near him. He groaned nang makitang nakatitig laman ang nurse sa kanya. Agan manan itong namula sa hiya sa pagtitig sa kanya at dali daling binigyan siya nang bakanteng higaan. He placed the girl gently on the bed, making sure that she would not fall. 

"How is she nurse?" He asked habang nakatingin sa nurse na nag aasikaso sa babae. 

"She has a minor bruise in her legs and arms, pero okay lang naman po siya sir. Mukhang nakatulog lang po siya. na linis ko na rin ang sugat niya baka maya maya magising na siya." Ani nito na may konting hiya at hindi makatingin sa kanyang mata. 

Tumango lang si alexandro at hindi na pinansin ang nurse dahil nakatitig lang siya sa babaeng nakahiga sa kama at natutulog. She really have a beautiful face, buti nalang at wala itong sugat sa mukha. Alexandro can't help but exhale deeply before grabbing his phone sa bulsa niya. He move far from her and called his secretary, telling him that he can't go to the office because of a minor problem. 

"What? Hospital?! What happened? Are you alright?" Kurt exclaimed frantically over the phone. Looks like he was worried. Kurt was one of his efficient and capable people, who have been working with him for over 10 years already. That's why he understands and knows him already.  

 "Which hospital? I will come immediately." He said hastily. Alexandro can hear him fixing his things in the other line.

"I'll send you the place and bring attorney Gareth." Alexandro said before ending the call. He needed to fix this mess once the girl woke up. If she asks for money or filed a case, his attorney can handle her. 

Nang makabalik siya sa pwesto nang babae, he was surprised to find her awake. Naka upo na ito sa kama at nakatitig lang sa dingding bago lumipat ang tingin nito sa kanya. 

'Damn... His heart was beating fast. Does he have any heart disease?' He unconsciously held the part of his heart nang bigla itong gumalaw. What the heck was that?

"Sino ka? Nasaan ako?" tanong nang babae nang makalapit si Alexandro sa kama na hinhigaan nito. He look for the nurse na nag asikaso didto ngunit hindi na niya makita. 

"I'm Alexandro, I was the one who brings you here in the hospital." Ani ni Alexandro sa kanya. 

"Why?" She asks clueless. She was looking at him in the eyes, waiting for a response. Para itong innocenteng bata na nag tatanong kong bakit ang araw ay sumisikat araw araw. And damn he finds it cute while looking at her innocent face. 

"Nabanga kita." Simpleng ani ni alexandro habang nakatitig sa kanyang mata. Hindi niya alam kong bakit parang hinihila siya nang mga mata nito papalapit.

"Why?" She asks innocently asks again. Bigla naman natauhan si alexandro sa pagtatanong nito. Why? Does she not know kong ano ang nabanga? 

He looks around at the emergency room and called for a doctor. They were examining her when his secretary and attorney arrived. 

"Ka ano ano po kayo nang pasyente?" The doctor asks them. 

"Ako ang nagdala sa kanya rito. Why? What's wrong?" He asks the doctor. 

"Looks like may amnesia po ang pasyente. It's maybe due to shock after the accident kaya hindi niya maalala kong sino siya at kong bakit siya nandito. For now, she needs to stay in here for further check-up." The doctor said before leaving them. 

The three of them stare at the girl who is also looking at them strangely. Amnesia.....?
