Chapter: Four
Emily at 13th in remember of her day, marking an important milestone in her life. But Elara prepared a special celebration, including, traditional foods, decorations, and a small ceremony to honor Emily's growth.
They all sat down to eat, Elara handed a small carved wooden box to Emily. "This is from your mother," Elara said, tears shining from her eyes. "She wants to have it on your 13th birthday."
Emily's heart was filled with emotion immediately she opened the box, seeing a beautiful golden pendant in the shape of a glow of sun. A little note was added to the pendant, it was a written message from Emily's mother.
"To my dearest Emily
I knew that I wouldn't be there to see you growing up celebrating your age of 13, but I want you to know that I love you much beyond expression even more than words can express. You are the light of the moon, your destiny is intertwined and difficult to shift, and the fate of the pack.
Never give up on your dreams and never forget who you are.
With all my love
Arias"
Emily felt so much emotion in her throat as read the message, tears streaming down her face. Elara hugs her in a wrap holding her closely.
"You are growing into a strong, and a young brave woman, just like your mother. I'm so proud of you.”
Straight away after Emily wipes away her tears, her sense of determination washed over her. Emily knew that she had an important role to play in the future fate of the moon shadow pack even though it had not yet been revealed to the members whose Emily's. And Emily was ready to face whatever came her or lay ahead.
And the little she knows, Emily's journey was about to take a dramatic turn. But her past secret was about to be revealed, and soon Emily's destiny would be forever changed.
But as the birthday celebration drew to a close, Elara led Emily to a small and serene clearing deep in the forest. The atmosphere was filled with the sweet scent of rose flowers blooming, and the moon shone its silver overhead brightly.
"Emily, it's time to know the truth about your past mother Aries" Elara said, her voice filled with determination and a mix of sadness. "I have to tell you because you deserve to know the secret that I have kept for so long from you"
Emily's face looked curious her heart skipped a beat straight away she looked at Elara, and her mind brought up questions. What is that secret had been kept from her?
What did Elara mean by a secret was kept?
"The secret is all about your mother, Aries was a witch in a powerful lunar world" As Elara began "She was a member of this pack, the moon shadow pack, and she played an unforgettable and important role in maintaining a well serene nature within our territory."
Emily gave her listening ear, a tranquil, entrance as Elara was narrating the story of her mother's lifetimes. She learned more about her brave dead mother Aries, and her unwavering, dedication and kindness to the pack.
But as the story evolves, Emily begins to realize that there are a lot of things she has never known about her mother's Arias past than what she had imagined. She learned and knew about the dark force of the underworld that had threatened the pack and the sacrifices that Arias had made to protect her home, pack, and family.
Emily felt her world was expanding, and as the night wore on, she and her sense of understanding even her place in the world continued growing. Emily discovered that she was not just a young girl with a powerful gift, but she was a key in a big story.
The moon was shining brightly, as Emily looked up at the moon the more it brought out its shining silver light, she knew already that she was born to face as many challenges as challenges might lay ahead. She was ready to fulfill her mother's Arias legacy that she left behind and to claim her destiny.
But as Emily turned to Elara, she discovered her and how concerned etching the old woman's face. "There is more my child," Elara said, as her voice barely loudly above whispered. "There is darkness that threatens our pack, doing the noon, and doing the night. For many years this darkness has been growing strong in power."
Everywhere was quiet, as Emily's heart skipped as she looked at Elara her mind brought up questions. What darkness again and what did she have to do with it? What was Elara talking about?
Now Emily waited for the old woman to continue, Emily felt a sense of anxiety wash over her. She already felt that her journey was about to take a dramatic turn, and this would test her courage including her faith, and how brave she is, even her determination.
Emily sat down there, listening to Elara the old woman even as was bathed in the cool beauty of the stars, the silver light of the moon, and the calmness of air she knew that she was about. She was ready to tackle every challenge that came around including does lay ahead, and to fulfill the prophecy and the destiny that had been orchestrated out before her way.
Tension continued to rise as the skyline pack was still intact in dominating and oppressing the moon shadow pack and they had never stopped in attacking their den. Emily felt the duty and weight of taking action with the power within her with the little she had learned. She knew and felt expectations as the p
rophesied savior that would give them redemption.
