14 The armed guards led us through a dark corridor. The air was mildewed and stuffy. This hallway seriously needed a window. Or three. I could hardly see, but I grabbed Darius and Destiny and held them close. I moved quietly down the hall with a gun forced into the small of my back, the only sounds our breathing and our footsteps on the concrete floor. A red glimmer appeared in the darkness. Falconer held out her hand, and a red pentagram flashed on her fingertips. A steel door appeared out of nowhere. The guards flung it open and pushed us through, into a dimly lit warehouse floor filled with tables, chairs, punching bags, and walls filled with swords upon swords upon guns upon guns.
