FAITH IS LIKE A LILLY!

1904 Words
Kathy stood in front of her father with a glass of wine, while conversing with him. she had a serious look on her face and so did her father;  “Who woke her up?” Kathy was silent, she wagged her head sideways indicating she had no idea. “What is your magic for Katherine Draco if you can’t use it to help your family?” Killian asked her in agitation. “Don’t talk like that to me father! You know my location spell is not as strong as mother’s and I wouldn’t be able to locate who woke her up and besides I don’t think anyone did! Her body is still there, it’s her spirit that’s lingering around. When I investigated into the case it was as if… she was summoned but I really don’t know who would do such a thing.” “What about Kaden?” he asked in fury “She woke him up!” the place grew silent. All that could be heard was the gurgling sound of wine into a wine glass and the gulping of wine. “And why is my daughter locked up?” he asked angrily “I already told you that she might attempt to free brother and if she does there’s nothing I can do about it… I know she is your Dearest daughter… but I will just say this once father if you even think of freeing her whatever happens you will fix…” she raised her hand in surrender and made her way out of the massive sitting room. “The Nerves!” he said under his voice and carried his own wine glass and empty the content into his mouth at once. ***                                    ***                                               *** It was yet another glorious day. The sun peaked through Lucian’s window’s to meet with his angry his eye. Standing up from the bed in fury, he threw a bag of blood he was holding in his hands on the open window glass space, and it smashed on the window covering every space where the sun light peaks from. He stood for a while in the darkness of his room in silence. Then he spoke in a husky tone; Since the day I had a taste of that woman’s blood all my demons have been restless. All I think about is her. She is even taunting me when she is not even close to me. Those sparkly innocent eyes of hers, make me feel like a living monster, her soft skin, her whole body make a mockery of my manliness… I am a man who has been with several women unfazed, yet… when I am with her she makes me feel like a kid trying to get a hidden candy.” He growled and placed both his hands on the French windows that had blood all over it. The place was rather cold; Lilith was dressed in warm clothing’s. she was walking casually with a bunch of white lilies in her hands, when she saw a sad man sitting on a bench lost in his thoughts in the park. The man looked sad, he was in deep contemplation obviously and she was bothered herself, she thought it would be good to say hi and greet the middle aged man and maybe she could make him feel better she thought. She handed the man flowers without saying anything to him. The man’s continuous look at the young girl got him confused. When she noticed his confusion, she said “Faith is like a lily, lifted high and white.” By Christina Rosseti.  She smiled and added; “A very good friend of mine said that to me… although I didn’t really understand him at that time, but I think I do now. Don’t be heavy hearted sir, all will be well in due time.” The moment he took the lily from her hands she walked away with a smile on her face, living behind this words; “Have a wonderful day sir”    Killian was seating on a chair with his eyes closed and his legs crossed and his head rested backwards. When the main entrance door into the building swung open. He opened his eyes but didn’t lift his head up until the person who opened the door was standing right in front of him. He said unsmiling without moving a muscle; “Speak!” “There was an attack at the Bayou by an unknown set of people, they were vicious and fast. That’s all the information we were able to get from them. Fortunately, we had only casualties but no loss of lives.” Killian made a fist as he got up from his chair. The place was silent as they exchanged looks with Argo. “Was there anything missing after the attack?” Argo wagged his head sideways before he answered; “Nothing was missing.” Killian nodded his head and went away from there, leaving behind only Argo standing there lost in his thoughts. He looked towards Lucian’s chambers and turned to leave when he bumped into Kathy. “My love, what is wrong with you? You should watch where you are headed for.” “When will all this be over? I am starting to think that you are not actually helping my sire but getting back at him instead” “What! Are you crazy? What good will locking my brother up do for me?” she asked him agitated by his question. “I don’t know! Well maybe you do, and you can tell me why” he was looking at her expectantly for an answer, while she was surprised at how little he thought about her. “You are an ass!” she said to him angrily and walked away. He gritted his teeth and as he was about to walk away, when he heard Lucian’s gentle voice, yet it was a voice he used when scheming evilly; “Just know that you are dead once I get out of here” he swallowed hard and left the house before Lucian could say more. Lucian knew very well exactly what was happening but he could not be bothered about it at all. After all they were the ones that decided to lock him up. It was a very cold day and Lucian was getting irritated by the hour. He was furious at the betrayal from his sister and his father. The alicorn pierced into his chest was getting deeper into his heart. Causing him to be furious and agitated by every little thing. While he was in misery he was planning on how to get back at all his betrayers. More than all that he was restless because it has been a while since he last saw Lilith. He walked towards the door and stood there in silence. He imagined Lilith coming in and giving him a warm hug and telling him everything will be alright. He was deeply hurt by the loneliness, he was feeling. ***                            ***                                         *** “So when will all these be over?” Sammy looked at her sister expectantly of an answer; “Somehow, you all think that I love keeping brother locked up” she looked at her sister and hoped she wouldn’t think like the rest. “Hmm sister, you’re the sweetest little thing that gives me joy every now and them even when you don’t know it.” She picked up a hot mug of coffee and gulped it down, with a slight smile on her face. then she said; “It’s your method sister that I don’t approve of, but you always get the job done so I guess it’s okay” she chuckled at Sammy and answered; “You should know that I am no little thing now. I do things you wouldn’t even believe I am capable of.” She said while smiling “I trust you…” Sammy answered her with a sly smile but got interrupted; “Well getting back to your point earlier… I think I have a plan but I won’t say it loudly, well because Lucian can hear us.” at that point she was right because Lucian had tuned into all their conversation in his idleness. He was listening to everything they were talking about. While he was making his own plan on how to escape that night. He saw the chance when he overheard his grandfather planning a party. He knew at that moment that his sister will most likely lower her boundary spell on him. The Draco’s Mansion was getting filled up by guest as a gentle Piano was being played there. The whole ambience was filled with soft music. Sammy was standing in her tight corset jumpsuit the pants was black and short while the upper part of the jumpsuit was grey and sleeveless. She was engaged in a conversation with some of the guest while Kathy was nowhere to be seen. This made her anxious as she was wondering what the weasel could be up to.  Looking up from where she was standing, she saw her sister and three other girls standing at certain points upstairs by the rails. Two were standing adjacent to her by the edge of the indoor balcony. While one was standing opposite her at the far end of the indoor balcony. They were performing similar gestures mostly done in spell rituals. Kathy could see what was happening downstairs and the curiosity written in her sister’s eyes only made her smirk at her. She was certainly sure that her sister was curious about what was going on. But she was focused and unfazed about her sister’s glare on her. Kathy was wearing a mini short gown, which accentuated her fine figure and gained her many glances from men and both women around.  Ignoring the attention, she was getting she also joined her hands together and they synchronized their voice together with her disciples; “Solve Fasciculos procidat deceptionem” an invisible force in form of air dispelled in the entire building. ***                                ***                                        *** Lilith was seated on the sofa in her small living room with her legs folded in a yogi posture and her full attention on her favorite show ‘The Simpsons’. She was engrossed in watching the show with her ice-cream by her side. She was taking full spoons of the Oreo Ice-cream, even though it was cold. She was chuckling when she heard a knock on her door. She got up abruptly from the couch and opened the door for the guest. She smiled at the sight of the man in front of her door and left it open for him to enter but he continued standing there looking at her before he finally said; “Won’t you invite me in?” she smiled and looked at him strangely saying; “I left the door open doesn’t that mean I am inviting you in” he smiled and answered her saying; “I am a gentle man and I will feel more comfortable if you invite me in “Weird… you just sounded like a vampire” she creased her browse and said to him; “In that case you are welcome into my abode” she smiled at him and before she could turn to see him walking toward her, he was standing right behind her.
