Part of me hoped and wished that the map E had left me was some secretly coded piece that he sent me to decode, with elements hidden within which would then reveal all the answers I was looking for. However, the more I searched and searched for a glimmer of a “code”, the more I realised that I was just throwing darts in the dark. I was becoming too hopeful, but in reality, there was nothing. It was just an old map for me to understand the layout of the Silver Moon pack, as well as to use it to find the pack.
Skimming the notes I had made, trying to understand the scribbles of my birth father’s later entries in his journal, a sickening twinge in my stomach twisted and turned inside me.
