I look up the dark hill and see a light beaming down from a cave. It’s been two long years of searching, and I believe I have finally found what I am looking for. I trudge up the hill. I have lost my ability to walk in the daylight, so I have to do everything at night.
Two years ago, I was woken up from a sound sleep by Selene. She told me I was to find the temple of Helios in Greece. The only problem was there were a lot of temples, ancient and modern, dedicated to Helios. But I had to find the correct one. Each one brought another disappointment as I just wanted to go home.
Selene told me I had to find the temple or never see my friends again. They were the only family I had as Gram passed, and the rest of my blood family wanted nothing to do with me. Not that I blamed them.
