Amber “Is my mother alive?” I say out loud as I sit on the floor of my gilded prison. Tears well up in my eyes as I try to remember the day she died. I remember my father corralling my siblings and me into the house and telling us our mother was killed by rogues. Regina howled as she cried while Dylan sat in silence. I just became angry and vowed to find the rogues and kill them. A sudden knock on the door makes me yelp and jump to my feet. I wipe my nose with my hand and open the door.
