I was sitting in the backyard with some of the girls as we watched Claire, Vincent, and Leon playing in the pool with the boys.
“Vincent has gotten so tall,” I said to Ellie.
“You have no idea. By the time I make some pants that fit him he has the nerve to grow out of them in a few weeks,” she laughed.
“Claire looks more and more like you each day. I bet Mason is gonna love that when she gets older,” Sarah laughed sarcastically as she fed their newborn girl Baylee.
“He’s hoping that Vincent and Leon will be able to keep the boys away,” we all laughed, making Delilah wiggle in my arms.
“Mommy!” Leon ran to me with tears running down his face.
“What’s the matter baby boy?”
“Vincent won’t play with me!” He wiped his tears.
