We were still in the hospital waiting to be released. Dr Hudson hadn’t signed our release forms because he had something important to tell us. I was getting antsy and just wanted to be in my own home. Everyone was concerned that I would be scared to step foot back in that house, but I can honestly say that I wasn’t.
Mason had gone outside to pull the car around. I had just gotten Claire strapped into her carrier when Dr Hudson came in.
“Are you ready to leave me so soon, dear?” He opened his arms for a hug.
“Just ready to sleep in my own bed,” I smiled and hugged him tightly.
“Where is Mason?”
