The party was spectacular. Everything was fine till after the announcement of Mason taking over. It felt like all eyes were on us now and it was putting me on edge. I felt like someone was watching us before, but brushed it off as nerves. People were coming up to us left and right. Congratulating him on his new position and our new addition to the family.
I was feeling overwhelmed and felt angry when people would just reach out to touch my baby bump. A few of them even gave me rude looks or remarks when I kindly asked them not to touch me. A few still thought it would be okay to try and I pushed their hand away. Luckily Mason was able to keep the peace with them because I was not having any of it.
