Chase’s face hardened as he stared at us.
“Who the hell are you?! Let go of her!”
Before he could reach us I pushed the strange boy into my room.
“Lock the door!” I shouted as I slammed it shut.
“Move Crystal!”
“Chase just listen to me”
“Move!”
“Chase will you-“
“What happened,” he cut me off as the blood drained from his face.
“I fell”
Anger radiating off of him.
“I’m gonna kill him”
“Wait!” I shouted as I put my shoulder into him to push him away from the door.
“Look at what he did to you!”
“He didn’t do anything. I tripped over a box and he was helping me to the bathroom”
He was breathing heavily. I could see him trying to calm himself
“You have thirty seconds before I break this door down”
I was starting to feel queasy and lightheaded. I took a deep breath.
