Queen Ranesmay: Trials and Tribulations

Chapter 6 Before the Ceremony

We all headed back to the palace to eat and get everything ready for our visitors. I was not really hungry so I went straight to my office to work out the rest of the details for later tonight. We had three elders coming, 16 alpha's, 16 Beta's and 6 of the alpha's had their mates with them, plus the King and Queen with their Beta and Gamma and 15 of their guards. Thankfully we have enough room for everyone. I went through all of the details and seen that we needed a venue that will hold all of the pack members, plus everyone else that was coming. 

"Head Beta Sarah please come to my office." I mind link her sounding stressed out.

"Be right there." Sarah responded.

Five minutes later I hear a knock at my door so I said "Come in". 

"Is everything okay Ranesmay?" Sarah said.

"Everything is fine Sarah, but I am needing a stage in the backyard and several dozens of chairs and tables." 

"Of course and how many seating's will we need?" She asked.

"Well we have around a thousand in our pack combined. We will need  at least 1,170 seats for everyone." I said back. 

"Okay is there anything else?" Sarah smiled at me.

"Yes as a matter fact please make sure that Beta Derek deals with the food and making sure that it is prepared by no later than 5 pm tonight and also make sure that all 60 rooms are prepared before 2 pm." I stated.

"Alright I will get to it and I will make sure that he knows." Sarah said with a smile.

"Thank you and let me know if anything is needed from either one of you." I stated proudly with my new beta's are taking their roles seriously.

I watched as she leaved my office to go do everything that I asked of her. I started on the paperwork that needed to be filled out before the ceremony including the paperwork that will need to be approved by the elders about the name change. 

(3 hours later)

I had already finished with the paper work for the ceremony and I notice that other packs have been submitting requests for help whether it was financial, rebuilding, to food. I decided to try and get caught up on that paper work. I was so consumed in my work that I did not hear someone knocking on my door, let alone them coming in. 

Beast's POV

I have been worried about Ranesmay because she hasn't ate at all today. I know that she is under a lot of stress because the ceremony is supposed to be tonight on top of making sure all of the paperwork is in order. She has been cooped up in her office since after Beta Ron's funeral.  I am walking towards her office when I received a mind link from Killer.

"Hey just wanted to let you know that we have a few Alpha's at the border of our territory." He said concerned.

"Let them pass." I said and cut off the link.

I hurried down to the office kind of happy that Bunny took our pups to go get ready. I finally reached her office and she did not answer, so I knocked again. Still no answer. I decided to walk in and I seen that she was so consumed with work that she did not even notice I was in the room. I walked around her desk and I whispered in her ear.

"It's time to go get ready my love." I watched as she jumped and I laughed.

"Don't do that you almost gave me a heart attack." She screamed at me and I couldn't help but keep laughing.

I quickly gained my composure and finally told her. "Some of the Alpha's are already arriving and we need to be out there to greet them." 

"Okay then let me go to our room here and quickly get dressed." She said and quickly walked out of her office.

I watched as she rushed out and I just smiled. I looked down at the paperwork and found out the she was already done with the paper work for the ceremony but she was in the middle of helping out other packs that needed financial help and help rebuilding. I smiled because she was willing to help them. I left her office thanking the moon goddess that I was already ready for the arrival for the Alpha's and everyone to arrive. I went to the entry way waiting for Ranesmay to come down and then I seen Bunny with our pups all dressed. She walked towards me and smiled and spoke through the mind link that we shared.

"So I had to go to bigger clothes for them then what they had on. They are growing way to quickly I wonder how long we have with them?" She asked.

"Right now I think we should spend as much time with them as possible but I think we will have to put them through home school because we don't need to draw attention. I also think that Ranesmay knows why they are growing so quickly. But I also get the feeling that we can't know why." I responded and then I smelled Ranesmay and looked at the stair case and there she was. I was in shocked because she looked amazing. She was wearing a midnight blue long sleeve dress and she was not showing to much skin but also showing off her curves. 

Bunny hit my side and I regained my composure and snapped out of it. "You look beautiful." We both said at the same time.

"Thank you. I received a mind link from Killer, Sarah, and Derek stating that they are waiting for us outside." She said with a smile on her face.

We opened the door and walked out and went to the front. When we got there we seen about 8 SUV's. I nodded at one of our warriors to go ahead and open up the door. The first car had the Alpha and his Beta from the Crescent Moon Pack. They both walked forward and bowed.

"Thank you for inviting us to this event. My name is Alpha Austin and this is my Beta Gabe." Alpha Austin said introducing them.

"You're welcome and thank you for coming, I am Luna Ranesmay soon to be the Queen of the Lycan's and you already know my mates Alpha Beast and Alpha Bunny. This is also my soon to be Head Beta Sarah, my Beta Derek, and you know Beta Killer as well." I said with confidence in my voice.

"Yes it is good to see all three of you again." He replied.

"Good to see you as well." Beast replied.

After their introduction we were out there introducing us to everyone else for about two hours, when I received a mind link from warrior Jones.

"My Queen the King and Queen of the Werewolves are here with their beta and gamma, as well as all of their guards." Warrior Jones mind linked me.

"Thank you Warrior Jones please let them in and once the elders get here please allow them to pass." I mind linked him back.

"Yes Queen Ranesmay as you wish." He said and closed the link.

I was already tired of standing outside and having the same conversation with everyone. After about two minutes or so; I noticed that their vehicles were coming into view and when the vehicle came to a stop I watched as the King and Queen got out of their vehicle and the power that radiated off of them surprised me, but I didn't show it; and I decided to match that power with mine so they knew who they are here for.

They came up to me and smiled. "Good Afternoon Princess Ranesmay. This is my Queen and my Luna Julie and I am King James, this is my Beta Dave and my Gamma Charlie." King James said.

"Good afternoon to you as well. May I introduce you to both of my mates; Alpha Beast and Alpha Bunny and this is their beta; Beta Killer, and behind him are my soon to be Betas. Head Beta Sarah and Beta Derek." I said as I smiled at them.

"It was nice meeting you all. I will say this I know that both of your mates are wolves and not Lycan's and half of your pack are also wolves. I would hope you would respect the fact that you will be looking over the Lycan's and not the wolves that is my domain." King James said.

I looked at him and smiled. "With all due respect I am also the Luna to their pack and once tonight is over they will be under my supervision and not yours. As you know we look after our own. I will not be fighting with you over who has supervision over who. I will say this I am not King Zues and all I want is peace. So we can become allied which can be decided tomorrow during our meeting not only with you but the other Alphas as well or we can become enemies; and if that is the case then after tonight, tomorrow morning at first light I would like you to leave." I said giving off more power than I thought I had.

He looked at me and smiled and I had a feeling that he was testing me and my authority. Then he spoke up. "You will make a great and amazing Queen and honestly I would like to become allies with you." He said.

"Okay well that can be discussed tomorrow and thank you." I said as I watched the Queen looked over at our stroller and seen our pups.

"Your pups are beautiful. What are their names." Queen Julie said enthusiastically.

"This is our oldest Zephyra, our second born is named Zander, our third born is name Zane, and our youngest is named Mazikeen." I said happy to finally talk about my pups.

"Well they are very cute and if I may ask what is that marking on Zander's arm?" She asked.

I was hesitant at first, but I decided to tell her. "This is the marking the moon goddess who is also my great-great-great grandmother, gave my son." I said watching their reactions.

At first I seen their eyes widen with the fact that I told them that the moon goddess was my great-great-great grandmother and then I seen that the reaction changed to one of protectiveness over my pups. I could see that they were mind linking back in forth. So I spoke up again.

"If it helps we could discuss this in my office with less ears and eyes on us. I am pretty sure my mates could hold down the rest. Plus it is time for their changing. Queen Julie do you mind helping me with that?" I asked with a smile wanting to know what they knew, but not to alarm my mates.

"Yeah we don't mind holding it down out here." Beast and Bunny replied

"Of course lets go." She said with a smile on her face.

I let them pass me and I walked over to get the pups from Bunny. I looked at them and gave them both a kiss on the lips and left with the pups. I walked inside and seen that they were waiting for me. I looked at them and silently asked them to follow me, and with that I walked past them down the hallway towards my office with my pups in front of me. When we reached my office I opened the door and walked in and King James closed the door behind them. I grabbed the diaper bag from the stroller and grabbed my eldest and started changing her diaper and started talking wanting to get down to business.

"So I know you both know something about Zander. Am I correct?" I asked

"Yes you are correct princess. After seeing the marking and finding out that you are indeed related to the moon goddess. I now know for certain that he is going to be the next moon god. But that is not news to you is it?" King James asked looking at me while Queen Julie grabbed Zander and was changing his diaper.

"Please call me Ranesmay, and no it is not new news to me, I already knew but my mates don't know yet because I can not tell them. But I get the feeling that you know more than that." I said while putting Zephyra back in the stroller and gave her a bottle and grabbed Zane.

"Here recently we have been getting threats from some unknown person and they have been trying to get to us because they think we have the chosen child." Queen Julie said as she finished Zander and gave him a bottle and grabbed Mazikeen. 

"Okay so are you saying that Zander is the chosen child?" I asked putting Zane back and gave him a bottle.

"Yes, we want you to be aware that you need to keep his existence a secret." King James said.

I looked at him with concern in my eyes. "That is kind of hard they are all going to be full grown at the age of five but I know that you already know this. If I may ask what was in threats?" I asked becoming a very protective mother.

"I brought it with us just in case we found the chosen child." King James said as he pulled out several opened letters and he handed them to me.

That was the last letter I read and I noticed that there was no names on any of the letters. I was shocked because on the second letter I noticed that the unknown person knew my name and how old Zander will be fully grown. To be honest I was scared because I want to protect my pups. I knew that in the end Zander and his mates would perish in a battle and they would resurrect and he would become the next moon god. I looked up at them with terror in my eyes and I was speechless.

"Ranesmay who ever this is they think that my five pups are one of the chosen ones. Like you they are growing abnormally fast. Who ever this person is doesn't know about your pups growing just as fast. But I fear that it is only a matter of time." Queen Julie said with fear in her eyes.

"King James and Queen Julie....." I said and they cut me off.

"Please call us James and Julie." James said.

"Okay James and Julie, I think that your pups and my pups are destined mates and they are supposed to meet at the age of three. Also I think that you are right Julie because I have not received a threat yet. I believe that who ever is behind these letters will reveal who they are soon. Also I need to know if you have both have any enemies?" I stated with concern.

"As far as we know we don't have any enemies unlike your grandfather." James said.

"Okay well I think we should make a treaty before tomorrow so we can have a united front and I was wondering would you be willing to have some of your warriors train mine and vice versa, so everyone can be ready." I stated with concern.

"Of course. I also think that you should have your pups surrounded by warriors as their guards to ensure their safety." James said.

"I think that is a measure that I am willing to take. Okay, so after the ceremony we will meet back here and get to work on our treaty. I also think it is wise to allow the elders know who Zander is as well. Is that fine with the both of you?" I asked.

"Perfect I believe the sooner the better:" James said and Julie nodded.

"I would like to know since you are both here are your pups safe and secure?" I asked concerned about their pups.

"Don't worry Ranesmay because of the threats they are currently in a secure location being guarded not only by several of our warriors but a few of the elders warriors, with an elder watching over them." Julie said with a smile.

"Okay that is good. I think we have been gone long enough. Also please do not say anything to Beast or Bunny. If we do then the fate and prophecy will change for the worse." I stated with a serious look on my face and they nodded in agreement. I grabbed the stroller and we left my office. I decided to mind link Beast to see if the elders have arrived yet.

"Hey babe has the Elders arrived yet?" I asked.

"Yes everyone is in the ball room." He replied.

"Okay thank you, we will be there soon." I said trying to hide my concern and I closed the link.

"Okay so everyone is here and waiting in the ballroom." I said to James and Julie.

They nodded and walked into the ballroom. When we got there I had them go in first and I watched as everyone bowed. Then I walked in with my pups. Everyone bowed at me and I finally got over to my mates and the elders.  

"Sorry for my absence and missing all of your arrival, some important business turned up and needed my attention." I said with a smile.

"It is okay I am Elder Ichigo, and to my right is Elder Renji, and to my left is Elder Rukia. Hopefully the important business has been taken care of?" Elder Ichigo asked.

 "Nothing I can't handle, King James and Queen Julie and I have decided to have a meeting right after the ceremony and we were wondering if the elders would accompany us in the meeting?" I asked while watching their movements.

"That is not a problem Princess Ranesmay, we would like to help anyway we can." Elder Rukia said with a smile.

"Thank you and please excuse me, I will need to tend to my other guests. Please enjoy your stay here." I said and I looked over at my mates and they looked back at me as I walked away with our pups.

I was going around and apologizing for my absence to all of the alpha's and they understood. After about two hours I was tired and my pups started to cry because it was time for their diaper change and bottles. I decided to mind link both of my mates.

"My loves please come and help me change our pups diapers." I said with tiredness laced in my voice.

I didn't get a response but I knew they were coming. So I left the ballroom and headed back to my office. Not that long after both of my mates showed up and they started helping me with the diaper changes and the bottle feeding. I could feel their gaze on me, so I looked up.

"The King and Queen are wanting to do a treaty with us right after the ceremony. It's nothing bad I promise." I said to them.

"Do you want us to attend the meeting with you babe?" Beast asked.

I looked up at him and smiled and said. "No I want you and Bunny to take care of the pups and once I am done I will mind link you both when I am on my way home." I said.

"Alright anything you want." Bunny said while looking over at Beast.

I seen him sigh and he said "okay." Even though I know that he doesn't want to and he wants to be apart of the meeting between all of us.

By the time we got back everyone was dispersing from the ballroom. I was very happy to see the pack members helping out and taking our guests to their respective rooms. I went behind my desk and not even five minutes later I was asleep.
