I am the daughter of the most powerful white wolf in decades but, I am also the daughter of the dragon king. Will I ever find my place in this world or will I have to fight to the end?

After completing the paper the quiet bald man on the opposite side of the desk scanned over it.

"Alright, Miss I have sent your information to the commander. You may go now. He is in the room two doors down." he said with a wave of his hand.

Walking out the door the first thing I notice is that the hall is incredibly plain. White walls, white floors, no pictures, no tables, nothing but windows and white. The commander's door was unique compared to the other doors in this hall. The door was a hand-carved wolf howling at a full moon.

I knock, waiting a few breaths before a deep rich voice tells me to enter.

"Miss Patrove?" he questions, not looking up from his paperwork but gesturing to a chair in front of his desk.

"Yes sir."

"Good. I have already gone over your paperwork. Tomorrow you will be put through multiple stations to test your abilities. Any questions?" he continued with his paperwork not sparing me a glance.

"Actually I do sir. May I go through these stations now?"

His eyes snap to mine in disbelief. Surprise and confusion written clearly across his features. For about two minutes we just stare at each other.

"Why would you like to now? Don't you want to go home to prepare?"

"No sir, I am already prepared for whatever you decide to put me through."

He studies my face for a few moments before hesitantly nodding.

"I guess I can get you in now." he replies smoothly as he gets to his feet.

Following his lead, I decide to get to mine as well, "thank you sir." I wait for him to gather the supplies he needs to judge me before following him to the training fields.

The trek there was more white hallways. If you didn't know where you were going you'd no doubt get lost in a matter of minutes.

Coming to the buildings back door we exit straight into the training fields. First thing we come upon is the shooting range, which is huge. After the shooting range is knife throwing, following is what appears to be hand to hand combat, after that in the corner of the land is another building. The commander stops at the shooting range first.

Coming to the buildings back door we exit straight into the training fields. First thing we come upon is the shooting range, which is huge. After the shooting range is knife throwing, following is what appears to be hand to hand combat, after that in the corner of the land is another building. The commander stops at the shooting range first. "Alright Evelyn, first test is shooting. You will be shooting five moving targets that my highest warriors have control over. Now pick one handgun please." He gestures to a wall with many different guns hanging. I study the handguns before settling on a CZ-USA 85 combat. As the warriors set up my targets, I load the gun. "Ready men?" a chorus of yeses sound before the commander turns to me. "Ready Evelyn?" I silently nod before my eyes study the movement of the targets. "Begin!" I sit a moment longer studying the movements more before covering my eyes with my left hand and taking my shots. After five shots have been made I open my eyes. Five targets hit in their chests. "How did you do that?" without answering the commander I turn to pick up a sniper, a Barrett M95. After shaking off his shock he calls his men over the headset. "Okay section six set up. She has picked the Barrett M95 and you are the furthest away," he informs them as I load five bullets into the chamber and get in position. After a few minutes he gets the okay from his men before asking if I was ready. He was given a nod. "Begin!" Five targets all shot in the chest. "Uhm okay, uh next is knives. The procedure is the same but this one will be timed." He explains as we move along the fields. After strapping the knives to myself, I give a curt nod to the commander. "And begin!" 5.7 seconds, seven targets with knives sticking out of their chests. Shocked the commander just stares at his warriors dumbfounded before I speak up. "Sir, what was my time? And what is the next test?" In barely a whisper he answers, "5.7 seconds. Stealth and speed." I nod before we exit to make our way to the strange building in the corner. Stopping at the door the commander finally speaks. "Inside this building, there are warriors with paintball guns. If they hear you they shoot, if they see you they shoot. The men will have night vision glasses on while you will not. Here is a map of the building. It includes all furniture and the complete floor plan, the only thing it doesn't cover is the men. This test will be timed as well, ready?" "Yes sir." "Alright, I will see you on the other side of the building. Step in and don't move 'till I say." Closing the door behind me, my eyes immediately focus in the darkness. "Begin!"
