After that, we found them very trusting too. Seems like they’ve dedicated their lives to the pack and Cole was dead set on protecting the pack at all times and it seems that he has training the warriors under him double time, without the alpha knowing it. The warriors too seem to be having no trouble as they are all committed to the pack’s safety.

After sometime, Nicola came in again with some more tea now, for them and some coffee for me and uncle. Cole, Meg and Syl, were now fully conscious and had no idea what happened to them. Then uncle spoke up again, “Cole, Megan and Sylvia, I have something important to discuss and I want you to listen carefully. Everyone else in this room are dismissed.”

All the servants quickly bowed and exited the room. Now, only me, uncle, Nicola and the three siblings remained.

“what is it Alpha?” they asked.

“You guys, I want you to meet your future Alpha and the rightful heir to the throne, Ms. Eleanor d’ Castle. Daughter of High Alpha King Williams d’ Castle and Queen Martha.” He said. With that all of them stood up quickly and went down on their knee, bowing down, “My Queen.”

“Please rise.” I said. I didn’t know where that came from, but I knew what to say. “Please, It’s El to you all for now. I’m still trying to get the grasp of things, Once it’s done, we’ll together work on making this pack the strongest ever known.”

“yes, my lady. We pledge our lives to you.” They said. And Cole quickly added “Don’t worry my lady, we’ll keep you safe at all times. My warriors along with anyone else in the pack knows not to cross me at any time. Nicola will also make sure of that.” Nicola quickly nodded to that saying yes.

Then suddenly, a pain in the gut shot up making me feel breathless. Nicola and uncle Henry were immediately by my side. Nicola said that she can feel my wolf stir and since I hadn’t shifted yet, it was only temporary and day was very near when my wolf surfaces. I don’t know why I haven’t shifted yet. I was turning nineteen in another three days, 20th of July.

A warrior suddenly barged into the room, bowing quickly, he said, “I’m sorry Alpha, but the Royal Blue Swan pack has requested audience with you. Their current alpha, Alpha George is here along with his beta and few warriors.”

“Accompany our Guests to the eastern wing. Make them comfortable there. Also, prepare my brother’s suite ready for our princess. Ask Macy along with other cooks prepare lunch for our guests. We’ll meet them then. Cole call for a meeting in the next half an hour. I want everyone from the pack to be there in the northern wing. No one from Blue Swan must know right now about the princess, till she is properly introduced. I want to keep it a secret. Since, she hasn’t shifted yet, none can smell her as werewolf yet. Let it be that way. Am I clear? ”

Even in my earlier pack, no one knew that I was a wolf. Since Alpha Philips made it clear that no one will be either omega or any low status, if they haven’t shifted yet, we were all treated equally. Though there were few, who used to glare and sneer at my sight, because of Nicholas, I was spared.

I was pulled out of my thoughts quickly when everyone replied with “Yes Alpha” and soon went on their own business. Uncle Henry said that he’ll be in his office and if I needed anything, I could call upon him. Meanwhile I was about to have a tour of the castle’s training grounds with Nicola.

“Be ready” Elina said. WTF? After a long time, she spoke up. Since the day I came out of my former pack, she became silent.

“What is it Elina?”

“You’ll see. But I need to say, I’m very excited and actually looking forward to this.”

Huh? Ok, it’s really weird. Usually, Elina is very cheerful and talkative.

“I heard that. Well, I’m not denying it but you shouldn’t be saying it out loud.”

Ok, ok. We were both talkative and after Nick, I became reserved but she was always there talking to me, cheering me up. She was the one, who helped me to move on from Nick and move on the path, I’m today.

Anyways, as I was walking down the corridor, along with Nicola, I could hear training sounds and grunts. I became excited myself. Nicola, besides me chuckled and said, hold your reigns princess, we’ll be there. I can feel your excitement already. I ignored her and soon we were now in the southern wing facing the training warriors. We observed for some time, the techniques how they spar with each other, in both wolf form and their human form. I got few glares from some of the female pack members, but they quickly looked away, when they heard Nicola growling at them.

After that, it was time for the pack meeting and we went to the northern wing, grand hall. Everyone were slowly getting assembled, and murmurs were heard about the sudden meeting their alpha called for. Some were speculating that it was about the Royal Blue Swan visiting us, and some were speculating about the rogue issues. But most of them were murmuring about me. As soon as uncle Henry came into the hall, everyone fell silent.

“Good Morning everyone. You might be wondering what this sudden meeting is all about? Well, I can assure you, that we’ll come to the rogue issues and the visit of Royal Blue Swan pack visit later. But the most prevailing issue is that I want you all to meet someone very important.” Murmurs started again and uncle Henry signaled everyone to stay silent.

He then beckoned me to come forth and started speaking again.

“Everyone, you all remember High Alpha King William and Queen Martha, my brother and his mate. They went in hiding as there were threats to their unborn child, from someone powerful at that time. After that I know, you all, WE all felt that connection sever, when his highness and queen died. But fate has brought a chance upon me, to meet my niece, King William and Queen Martha’s only daughter Ms. Eleanor d’ Castle, your princess and future Alpha.”

Everyone suddenly cheered and some whistled, clapping. Uncle again motioned them to stay silent. He continued speaking, “I want everyone to show the same loyalty you had towards my brother and me so far, towards our princess too. I want everyone’s approval of her taking over the throne. I’m sure she’d be a great alpha of her time. But if anyone have any doubts or against my decision, you can speak up now.”

I admired my uncle when he said that. He treated everyone equal and he was asking for everyone’s opinion. I’ll keep that in mind, so that when I become the alpha, I’ll make sure that I earn everyone’s respect. I focused quickly, when some old woman spoke up.

“We respect your decision alpha. We can clearly see that our princess is an exact copy of her mother. I can also clearly sense the spirit of her wolf. It demands and reciprocates respect and at the same time, she is very kind and just. She’ll be our leader and we will follow her with our hearts.”

“Thank you Elder Sienna. Anyone else as anything to say about my decision please” uncle said.

Everyone then, without any other word, went down on their knee, and bowed to me in respect. I was in awe and on verge of tears, when they spoke up, “we respect your decision alpha and also our words of Elder. We pledge ourselves to the pack and safety of our future alpha, the princess. We swear our loyalty by our blood.”

I did not know what to say. But I had to speak. “Please rise. I’m very happy to meet you all in person. My father and mother were very lucky to have you all as their pack members and now my uncle too. I assure you that I won’t let them and you all down. But for now, I’m am one of you, Just like any other pack member. I wish to know everyone of you, get trained and learn the ways.”
