Rogue Attack (contd…)

Cole’s POV

“Cole, can you ask Megan and Sylvia to be there before tomorrow morning. I have some important task for both of them”, alpha Henry mindlinked me as soon as we boarded the plane. ”yes alpha.” I replied him back.

“Meg? Sylvia?” I tried mindlinking them.

“Cole..” they shrieked through the mindlink.

Thank god, I didn’t call them on phone. Otherwise, my eardrums would have been burst. Though, I got a headache.

“keep your voices down. My head hurts” I said.

“where are you? How are you? What happened? Why are you mindlinking us at this hour?” they bombarded me with questions. “Everything’s alright. I’m with alpha Henry. We’re on our way back to the castle, after our meeting. Listen, the alpha’s orders that you two are to be there in the castle before dawn tomorrow. Where’s Nana? ” I asked. “she’s here with us.”

“Nana?” I called upon her. “Cole, darling how are you? Is everything alright?”

“Yes, Nana. Alpha’s orders, Meg and Syl are to be there in the castle, before dawn tomorrow.”

“Ok, I’ll see to it. Be safe son.” With that I cut off our mindlink and went to check on my mate.

I took the seat besides her during the flight. I wanted to talk to her and let her know about us, without scaring her. She blushed at my sight and sit up straight, when I sat beside her. She looked up at me in question. “I wanted to speak with you. I didn’t get a chance properly earlier today. I.. I wanted to talk to you about something, but please don’t be alarmed.” She looked at me without any expression in her face. “is it about you being a werewolf too?” she asked me nonchalantly. I was stunned by her words. How in the world did she know about us? She was after all a human, for goddess’ sake.

“How.. how did you know that? How much do you know about us” I asked her. She shrugged her shoulders and said, “my parents were omegas in my previous pack. I was born human, a very rare case. My parents were ashamed of me though our alpha didn’t say anything. When my parents gave me up adoption to a human orphanage, the alpha didn’t say a word then too. It broke my heart that time. But I understood that it’s for my best.”

“how old were you when this happened?” I asked her, feeling sad at my mate’s situation. I could see the tears trying to break out of her eyelids. I cupped her face with both of my hands and turned her towards me.

“I was eleven. I was their only daughter. Though my mom was reluctant, my father thought that it was for the best. When I heard you whisper the word Mate back in the apartment, I then knew, that you were a werewolf.” She said. I was proud of my mate. She took things in a positive way, even though she had to face that kind of situations early in her life. I quickly assured her “don’t worry baby. You have me now. I’ll never leave you. Never.” She smiled and leaned her head on my shoulders, sighing. My wolf was dancing and prancing in my head with happiness. I too sighed contendly at the gesture and slept peacefully, with my mate in my arms.

Next day, in the early hours, we reached our pack grounds. When we came back to the castle, my mate’s reaction was priceless, when she saw the grandeur of the castle. I just chuckled at her and slipped my hand in hers, tugging her along. I mindlinked the twins saying that we’re here.

Then, I saw both the girls bursting through the doors. They went straight to the alpha and bowed their heads. ”thanks for trusting us alpha. We heard that you had some important task for us.” I didn’t pay heed to their words after that, as my focus shifted on mate. She was taking in the surroundings and as soon as she felt my gaze, she looked up and blushed like a teenager who fell in love for the first time. I grinned happily. I asked her if she was okay, and she replied yes.

Alpha suddenly declared that we would e having a meeting soon in his office and went upstairs. The twins soon found me and my mate, looking at each other. “what’s happening? Please don’t tell me that she’s your mate” they mindlinked me. I winked at them grinning. “OMG, OMG, OMG” they squealed together. I would be having a migraine soon. After that the twins followed the princess and took her for a tour of the castle and her room. I looked at my mate and said “shall we?” she looked up and nodded. I took her to my room in the eastern wing, in the second floor. To the right was the corridor to the other parts of castle and to the left was my room. I was given this, so that in emergency cases, I could reach my destination quicker. It was my father’s before, now it was mine.

I took my mate inside and she looked at the queen sized bed in the middle and blushed again. I couldn’t control myself anymore. I took her hand and pulled her to my chest, hugging her and leaving trails of kisses wherever possible. I found her full lips soon. She was first surprised at my gesture, but soon relaxed in my arms and was kissing me back soon. My wolf was purring in contentment, having his mate in his arms. when I asked for the entrance by tugging her bottom lip, she granted me the access and we were soon fighting for the dominance and I won.

I quickly made way to our bed now, still kissing frantically. Soon, I found the zipper of her dress and took it  out. After that, everything happened quickly. We were soon in each others arms and my mark proudly sitting on her neck. We both were tired, but we did not want to sleep. I looked at her with all my love pouring out. She glanced at the clock suggesting that it was time to go meet alpha in his office. I was reluctant to leave her but I had to.

I quickly rose from my bed and went to take a shower. Vicky surprised me by joining in me in the shower and we made out again, there. After that, we came and were getting ready, when I heard a knock on the door. By the smell, I could say it was Sylvia. I knew it was time, so we both followed her out, soon joined by Megan.

“So, dear brother, care to share the details” both of them asked me.

“Vicky, please meet Megan and Sylvia, my twin sisters. Meg, Syl, this is Vicky, Victoria, my mate and Ms. Eleanor’s aide.” Yes, I didn’t say princess, because, though they were my sisters, I wanted to know what alpha had in mind. My duty towards the pack came first. As soon as we entered the alpha’s office, we were ushered to the next adjoining room for breakfast and were served tea. It was funny, that as soon I drank it, it was like I wanted to spill all my darkest secrets out. We were all soon talking, spilling out our secrets and alpha and princess were delighted to know everything about us.

It looks like alpha has come to some sort of decision and it was clear in his eyes. There was also pride in his eyes, by looking at me. I don’t know what to do, but though in my mind it was clear what was happening, my body and my words were not in my control. We ate and after sometime, we were again served tea and this time,  I can feel all my senses back in my control. I felt relief. I looked at others, and it seemed to me that Meg, Syl and even my mate went through the same experience.

After, what seemed to be ages, I felt like all my burden was gone off my shoulders and I was renewed with new hope and happiness. After that, alpha Henry said, “Cole, Megan and Sylvia, I have something important to discuss and I want you to listen carefully. Everyone else in this room are dismissed.”

“What is it alpha?” Meg and Syl asked after everyone left.

“You guys, I want you to meet your future Alpha and the rightful heir to the throne, Ms. Eleanor d’ Castle. Daughter of High Alpha King Williams d’ Castle and Queen Martha.” He said. With that everyone of us stood up quickly and went down on our knee, bowing down, “My Queen.” Even though, I knew it before hand, there was a kind of asserted power radiating from the princess making us bow down submitting. We then found a young wolf, lance, sprinting in the room saying that the  Royal Blue Swan Lake alpha, along with beta and few warriors were here, requesting the audience of our alpha.

They were accommodated in the eastern wing and everyone else from our pack were called for a meeting, to introduce the princess. When everyone gathered in the main hall of northern wing, they wondered what this sudden meeting was about. Few speculated about the rogues and others about the Royal Blue Swan pack visit. But most of them smelled the new scents arrival and also, they could see the similarity of our princess and her mother. They were all mindlinking about her, without speaking outloud. I silenced everyone through mindlink as soon alpha Henry stepped into the room.

He quickly introduced everyone the princess and asked for our opinion on the issue. I could feel everyone agreeing to our alpha’s decision, not just based on the respect we had for him, but also the similarities of our princess, she shared with her mother. After Elder Sienna spoke, everyone bowed down to our queen. I was very proud of my pack, especially my warriors. Suddenly, to my left, Nicola tensed up, looked like she was about to faint. But it was the princess.

I was quickly at her side, along with Nicola, holding her up, alpha Henry, Elder Sienna,  two of my top warriors from male clan, Tony and Robert, along with Meg, Syl, Vicky, Jassy, Rose from Nicola’s warrior clan, followed by everyone else. The princess was having a vision, with my powers I could see that Royal Blue Swan Lake was being attacked.

Before I could speak up, princess came to her senses and alpha Henry and Nicola asked her if she was okay. Princess explained her vision to everyone. Before she completed her narration, we could hear the howls of members of the visiting pack going away. They were calling for help. Alpha Henry immediately asked for 30 top warriors to accompany our guests to aid them, while others were to follow princess and join her in the lunch banquet, prepared for today.

We immediately set out and soon caught up with the Royal Blue Swan Lake members. They acknowledged us and shot forward, worrying about their pack members. When we reached the borders, we could see around 100 rogues fighting the patrol team of the pack and few warriors. The rogues couldn’t cross the barriers even. The pack warriors did an impressive job. We then joined them and soon almost all rogues were decimated, and two rogues were caught.

Alpha George and his beta shifted back and ordered their warriors to take the rogues to the dungeons, where they will be properly interrogated. Alpha George, immediately turned to us and said, “I sincerely thank you Beta Cole and your warriors for the help. Kindly thank Alpha Henry on our behalf. Today’s audience didn’t happen, but I certainly will visit him tomorrow, after I’m done with these two rogues.”

With that, we bowed to the alpha and started back towards our pack castle. I was speeding up than anyone else. I didn’t want to waste anymore time staying away from my mate. Rex was more happy at the thought of seeing his mate soon. But there was a nagging thought at the back of my mind. I could sense some kind of witch’s magic coursing in the rogues. But I was not sure. And I felt that this was not the end of the rogues. Something big was coming and soon.
