Chapter 25 The following afternoon, Henry drove his phaeton to the Astley town house, ready to prostrate himself before Caroline. A gigantic bouquet of white and blue hyacinths lay on the seat next to him. As he pulled up to Astley House, he saw an elaborate landau parked out front.
