"I hope that was enough to satisfy whatever curiosities you had," I said with a sigh a few seconds after Sosha left. He had been a broken man at some point in his life but he was able to recover and found himself at the top once again. And to think that my mother, I, had been the one cause him such pain. Ambrose walked around the table and stopped beside it where I had placed the photographs I had been going through. "Somewhat, but not quite. I doubted from the very beginning that Sosha was your father," he said, surprising me. "Then why did you have me go through so much worry? Just to prove yourself correct?" I asked, feeling the anger from before heating up again in my chest. Ambrose packed the photos in a pile and tucked them into the envelope before he tossed it back on the table.
