Later that night, I retired to the master bedroom and decided to take a shower first before heading on to sleep. Once I was done, I left the bathroom in a towel and changed into a night dress before slipping under the bedsheets to sleep. I had closed my eyes for only a few minutes when I opened them to the knock on the door.
