Sure enough, as I was able to convince myself last night, I woke up feeling refreshed without any of the worry I felt before. The next morning was like any other typical day at the vacation house. I woke up to the sight of the summer's day sky and the greenery that was the tops of the trees outside the window. I couldn't see the ocean water from that height, but as I pushed the bedsheets away from my body and sat up on the bed, the blue and green of the ocean came into sight.
I sat still for a few minutes, taking in the sight from the window. It wasn't long after I felt the need to stand up and head to the bathroom for a warm bath.
