CHAPTER 5

SILENCE filled the room after that. Regina couldn't even look directly at Fabian, feeling the warmth in her cheeks. She was embarrassed even though she didn't mean to brush against his hard manhood. Despite her embarrassment, she couldn't help but be affected by it. She felt a rush of heat. It was as if she wanted Fabian to feel her between her thighs. "I'm s-sorry," Regina said after a few seconds. She heard Fabian take a deep breath and then he sat on the sofa. "Leave," he said, rubbing his temples. The atmosphere was awkward and Regina felt that even Fabian was taken aback by what happened, speaking almost in a whisper. But Regina shook her head. If it were up to her alone, she would have left the room because of what happened. But she still had unfinished work with Fabian. She needed to feed him and give him his medicine. So she cleared her throat and turned to face him. She tried her best not to look at his body and focused her gaze directly on Fabian's face. "I will leave once I have fed you and given you your medicine..." she said firmly. "What if I don't want to eat?" Fabian asked. "I know you're hungry. So please, go ahead and eat so I can leave," she replied, scooping up some food from the plate. "I'll feed you. So open your mouth, Fabian." "What a stubborn woman," she heard Fabian mutter, but he eventually opened his mouth and let Regina feed him. She noticed Fabian pause while chewing, furrowing his brow. "This doesn't taste like Alison's cooking," Fabian pointed out, referring to his personal chef. Regina hesitated and then said, "I-I'm the one who cooked. I-I'm sorry if you didn't like the taste. But I can assure you that it's clean." Regina felt uneasy, fearing that Fabian might not eat anymore. And indeed, that's what happened. Fabian shook his head and pursed his lips. "I've lost my appetite. Wasn't Alison supposed to cook for me?!" he said angrily. Fabian's voice was intense, and he ran his fingers through his hair. "I-I'm sorry, Fabian. I spilled your food earlier. I'm really sorry," Regina said nervously. "Damn it!" Fabian stood up in frustration and slowly made his way to the bed. "Leave!" "But you still need to take your medicine," Regina insisted. "I said leave!" "No, Fabian. I won't leave. Please, you still need to take your medicine," Regina pleaded as she took the medicine from him and approached, carrying a glass of water. She couldn't afford to fail at her job again. She couldn't risk embarrassing herself in front of Auntie Davie. "Please, Fabian," she continued, handing the medicine to him. Fabian huffed, "Fine! I'll take the medicine, but after this, you need to leave! And don't come back!" He took the medicine from Regina's hand and swallowed it. "Now leave!" Fabian commanded before lying down on the bed. "Good night, Fabian," Regina said instead of dwelling on his words. Afterward, she cleared the dishes and brought them to the sink to wash. Regina then went up to her room, ready to rest after finishing her tasks. Regina headed to the bathroom to shower. But instead of Fabian's gruffness and anger, his body was what played on her mind. "Oh God!" Regina whispered to herself as she stood naked in front of the mirror. She placed her hand on her breast and played with it, imagining it was Fabian's hand. As her thoughts expanded, Regina found herself absentmindedly playing with her right hand between her thighs. She imagined Fabian kneeling in front of her, burying his face in her femininity while she was spellbound by him. "More, Fabian," she moaned, quickening the movement of her fingers inside. Since Regina became aware of s****l desire, her hand and fingers served to alleviate the heat in her body. And now that she had seen a man's naked body up close, she couldn't help but desire more. She wanted to feel Fabian inside her. She wanted to feel him possess her. "Ohh! s**t!" Regina closed her eyes as she leaned against the wall, and after a few minutes, she reached her peak. Gasping for breath, she looked at herself in the mirror. Her lips were parted, her left hand on her chest, and her right between her thighs, soaked in her arousal. "Seriously, Regina? It's only your first day at work, and you're already lusting after your blind boss?" she scolded herself, letting out a soft laugh. Was she so desperate to give her virginity to a man, especially at twenty-five with no experience in s*x? "Oh c'mon, Regina! You came here for work!" she reprimanded herself. She could hardly sleep that night, consumed by thoughts of Fabian's naked body. The way his hand played with his manhood added to her restlessness. The next morning, despite the lack of sleep, Regina woke up early to attend to her duties for Fabian. She didn't want to fail on her second day of work. Even though Fabian had told her not to come back, she didn't obey. There was nothing Fabian could do to make her leave the mansion. At precisely six in the morning, Regina was ready. She prepared herself to face Fabian's sourness and his sharp words. After glancing at herself in the mirror, she left her room carrying the iPad Auntie Davie had given her and checked Fabian's schedule. Hmm. Today was his therapy session. The physical therapist was scheduled to arrive at eight. She also needed to attend to him in the morning and ensure he took his medication so he would be ready later. Upon reaching Fabian's room, she knocked. Despite no response, she entered and found him still sound asleep. Regina approached him slowly and gazed at his peaceful face. "I hardly slept because of thinking about you last night," she whispered and smiled. Regina didn't know why, but she felt it was too early to speak. However, she couldn't help but be impressed by Fabian and develop a physical attraction to him. Despite the scar on his forehead down to his eyebrow, he still looked very handsome. The scar even added to his appeal. It was just a pity that his beautiful eyes couldn't see. Regina didn't know if Fabian Iglesias' blindness was permanent. Auntie Davie hadn't mentioned it to her. But she hoped that there might still be a chance for his blue eyes to see again. The world was noisy and chaotic, but it couldn't be denied that it was beautiful. Regina sighed. "I'll take care of you as long as I'm your personal assistant. I won't give up on you, even if you shout or act grumpy towards me. That's a promise," she said, gently poking Fabian's aristocratic nose. Afterward, Regina left the room to get Fabian's breakfast from the kitchen. When she arrived, she found Auntie Davie already preparing Fabian's meal. "Good morning, Auntie," she greeted. "Good morning, Regina. How was your sleep? Did you not have trouble?" Auntie Davie asked. "No, I didn't. I fell asleep right away," she lied. Of course, she didn't mention that she hadn't slept well because she was infatuated with her own boss. Regina had no plans to mention what had happened last night, where she had late-fed and given Fabian his medication. She would make up for it through her work. It was natural to make mistakes on the first day of work. "That's good." "Is that breakfast for Fabian?" she inquired. Auntie Davie nodded. "Yes, you arrived just in time. The therapist for Fabian will be coming later. So he needs to be ready." "Yes, Auntie. I also saw it on the schedule," Regina replied. "Alright, go ahead and bring his meal to him. I'm also pleased with you; it's only your second day at work, but I haven't heard any complaints from you. Usually, with Fabian's previous personal assistants, by the second day, they already want to resign. I hope I made the right choice in selecting you. I hope you stay here until Fabian fully recovers and regains his sight." Regina smiled. "I will do my best, Auntie. I won't let you down." After leaving the kitchen, Regina went straight to Fabian's room, carrying the tray of his breakfast. When she entered, she found him still sleeping. Carefully, she placed the tray on the table and then approached the bed. She gazed at Fabian once again. Regina had a hard time resisting looking at his body because she didn't want to commit a sin. However, it seemed like she couldn't control herself as she involuntarily glanced at the bulge between his thighs, especially since it seemed to be hardening in his boxer briefs. That was probably what they called a morning erection. Regina swallowed. She found herself back in the lustful thoughts she had been trying to avoid. "You fool! Calm down," she whispered to herself, then sat on the edge of the bed and gently tapped Fabian's cheek. At first, she hesitated, afraid that Fabian might get angry with her. But every time she reminded herself that he couldn't do anything about it, her fear subsided. "Fabian, wake up. Your breakfast is ready," Regina softly spoke and gently tapped his cheek. Despite calling his name three times, he still didn't wake up. "Fabian, wake up," she repeated, gently stroking his long eyelashes. "Fabian—" Regina suddenly stopped and was almost startled when she felt Fabian grasp her arm, causing her to pause in stroking his eyelashes. After that, he opened his eyes, revealing his blue eyes to Regina. She knew he couldn't see, but it felt like their eyes met. "What do you think you're doing?" he asked in a baritone voice that seemed hoarse. He furrowed his brow and then sat up in bed, leaning against the headboard, ruffling his hair as if he were a model in a photoshoot. And once again, his body was exposed to Regina's sight. Up to this point, he was still in his boxer shorts. Regina cleared her throat and quickly stood up from the bed. "G-good morning. I-I was waking you up. Your breakfast is ready," Regina replied hastily. Fabian scowled. "I fired you last night. Why are you still here?!" he said sharply. Fabian got off the bed swiftly. Regina quickly assisted him and didn't pay heed to his words. "I need this job, Fabian. No matter what you do, I won't leave this job," she firmly stated, still assisting him as they headed towards the bathroom. "Tch. You'll give up eventually," Fabian remarked before shrugging off Regina's helping hands.
