Runaway Alpha

Chapter 4

Alissya's POV

I decided to hide out in my room avoiding that mess. There is no way I will have him as a mate. 

Alissya come to the office now, Dad mind linked me. As I sighed out I decided to throw on some sweats trying to look unappealing to any males. As I reached  the office, I smelt a wonderful scent again. 

"Oh no. no. no. no. I can't go in there." As soon as I turned to leave, the door swings open showing a smirking Levi. Guess what this stupid Alpha did? Yep, I ran. Straight out the front door shifting into my wolf and went straight to the pond. 

I can not deal with this crap. Tomorrow is the ceremony and I am choosing Jason. I will not leave to become someone's Luna who may be treated like scum. "That Alpha can kiss my ass for all I care!"

"I agree love."

"Jason!!! Quit sneaking up on me you jerk."

"It's not my fault you're so distracted. Unfortunately, you are distracted by another male" Jason pouts clutching his heart.

"Oh shut up Jason. He just pisses me off. What was he even doing in the office anyways?"

"Your dad thinks we should all sit down and discuss this."

"What's there to discuss? We will go forward as planned."

"I tried telling them that" Jason says cheekily causing Alissya to roll her eyes.

"Great minds I guess.... Come on, let's get some grub."  

When we reach the pack house I grabbed some clothes I hid in the trunk of a tree, and stepped in the house practically gluing my self to Jason so no one could smell me that well. I made it into my room and jumped in the shower. As soon as I was dressed I opened my door to an angry father. 

"Alissya we need to talk now!"

"I will not talk with that stupid Alpha! He is ruining everything!"

"Now Alissya!" Dad roared letting his Alpha tone slip out. Eventhough it doesn't work on me, i still sighed and agreed to follow him down to the office. I refuse to call it his office since it will be mine again tomorrow. "Go ahead and sit down Alissya. I will be right back" Right then Levi walks in. FML.

"Well, hello my gorgeous runaway" he grins.

"I am not yours!" 

"You will be soon" he growls.

" No I won't! In fact, I Alissya Black of the Black Night pack reje.." suddenly I'm cut off with a hand over my mouth.

"Don't you dare try to reject me!" Levi roars with so much power I shivered. All I can do was look into his eyes and feel calmness. He relaxed also, but then I came to my senses. I pushed him away about to run out of the room when my father returned with Jason. 

"Okay, Alissya, is what Alpha Levi saying about being your mate true?" Dad asks annoyed. I don't answer, and just look away. "Alissya." 

"I don't want him to be! I will not lose my pack and become some Luna to please a male. This is my pack, I belong here!"

"That's what this about? Your selfishness of wanting to be an Alpha!" Levi questioned. "An alpha has to do what's best for the pack, not themself!'

"What about you! You're being selfish right now trying to force me to go with you! Who's to say I'm not what's best for my pack right now? Who's to say your pack even wants me!?"

"ENOUGH!!!!" Dad shouts. We all turn towards him cowering a bit feeling like little pups.

"Sorry" we both say.

"Alpha, shouldn't she have a choice? She wants to reject him and continue as planned." Jason pleads. "I will not let him take her away from me!" he slams his fist on the desk, the sound echoing off the walls.

"Jason! Calm down."

"Alpha David, Alissya is my mate, she needs to take her place with me."

"I deserve to be happy you jackass!" Jason chuckles at that.

"Shut up you mutt!" Levi growls at Jason.

"Why don't you make me asshole!" he snaps back.

"SHUT UP NOW!!!!!" I yell.

David clears his throat, "Only thing that makes sense is Jason and Levi fight til death. Winner gets my daughter." 

"Are you out of your mind?! I don't want anyone to die. Why can't they fight til one concedes?"

"Jason, son, would you ever concede in a fight for Alissya's hand or honor?" 

"No sir, " he replies glaring at Levi.

"Alpha Levi, would you ever concede in a fight for your mate and Luna?"

"Hell no, Alpha."

"There you are Alissya. You of all people know how stubborn Jason is when it comes to you, and you being an Alpha know how stubborn we are."

"There has to be another way"

"Are you worried I will kill your little friend, babe?" Levi growls in my ear. I just turn to glare at him.

"Actually, I have an idea" David sits back and rubs his chin in thought. "What if we compromise?" We all turn towards him confused. "Since we know how stubborn and kind hearted my daughter is not wanting to be the reason of blood shed, why not send her to your pack for 3 months to see if you can win her heart?" 

Levi smirks," I know I can"

"What!? 3 months? That's outrageous! I'll agree to 1 month."

"10 weeks" my dad negotiates.

"6"

"8 weeks and that's final!" my dad grins knowing how to play  me like a fiddle.

"You can't send her away for 2 months!"

"What's the matter pup? Afraid you'll never see her again? Afraid the better man will win?" Levi taunts.

"The better man will win, me. But you can not lock her up or torture her."

"I would never torture her, and I'll only lock her away if she tries rejecting me or runs away from me again."

"AGAIN!" Jason and my dad shout in disbelief. 

I just chuckle shyly, "Maybe i did once or twice." Dad face palms himself while Jason laughs.

"See, that's proof she doesn't want him."

"Shush Jason, I've made up my mind. It's either this or a fight til death. I don't need  our packs at war right now."

"When do I leave?"

"Tomorrow morning sweetheart," Levi bends down towards my ear rubbing his chin playfully. 

"Well, I guess I'm gonna pack and say bye to everyone."

"Sleepover tonight love?" Jason asks.

"Sure " and then a low possessive growl erupts. We all turn to look at Levi, "Relax it isn't the first time he's slept in my room," and I grab Jason's hand and stroll out of the room leaving an angry Alpha behind. 

"She's going to be the death of me" my father claims.

"Probably us both sir."
