Runaway Alpha

Chapter 2

Alissya's POV

I walk into the kitchen after my shower to see everyone already gathering. Dad is in her seat at the head of the table, Alpha's spot, which makes her grumble.

"Hey love, come sit next to me," chirps Jason. Alissya slumped in to the seat to his right while Jason starts filling her plate.

"You know I can fix my own plate don;t you?"

"Of course, but I finally have a reason to spoil you, and I plan on doing everything I can to make things easier and you more comfortable" Jason states proudly puffing out his chest.

"Well, you doing everything for me is uncomfortable" she outs.

"You are just too cute when you pout like a little child" Alissya glares at him. " You know if you want to act like a child, I can find a few ways to punish you" he barely whispers in her ear.

Alissya's eyes open side and her mouth drops open shocked. Jason just starts chuckling while everyone stops eating and looks their way. Alissya slumps in her seat trying to hide her red cheeks. 

What was that about? Jason sure seems confident now.

It's because he finally has you her wolf chirps at her wagging her tail.

I don't get why he is perfectly okay with knowing I'm forced to do this.

Maybe because he loves you so much, he doesn't care. He is just happy with being with you. You two are great friends and are always together anyways and act like you're mated  already. Just think about being friends with benefits. Her wolf Fayth smirks.

Alissya just rolls her eyes. After finishing eating she grabs Jason and practically drags him out of the kitchen. "Come on, we have stuff to plan."

Thursday: Day before the ceremony

"A few guests will be arriving today, show them to their rooms please," Alissya asks some Omegas. Then she walks in the back yard to check on the decorations and stage.

"No, no, no. That doesn't go there" Jason is giving orders like he was born for this.

"You know, if being my mate doesn't tickle your fancy, you could always take up party planning" Alissya teases while patting his shoulder. "You're doing a great job, which makes me happy since I don't have to do this."

Jason rolls his eyes, " Only party I want to plan is aft..."

Alissya rushed her hands over his mouth, "Don't you dare finish that sentence" She looks around to make sure nobody hear what he was about to say.

Jason just laughs as he wraps his arms around her waist swinging her in a circle causing Alissya to laugh. "There's that harmonious laugh I love." 

"Thanks Jason, you always seem to know how to calm me down."

"That is my job, love" He replies while Alissya reaches up and kisses his cheek.

"Wait, do yo usmell that?" Alissya starts sniffing the air.

"What are you talking about?"

Alissya starts sniffing again. "It's kinda faint, but I smell pine and rain?"

"Well, I doubt it is rain because the sky is perfectly clear. Why don't you go upstairs and rest. Obviously your mind is messing with you." Alissya looks confused but gradually nods her head.

"Yea, I think you're right. Come find me or link me if you need anything."

"ANYthing?" Jason asks wagging his eyebrows.

"OMG you PERV!"  Alissya turns red and practically runs to her room leaving a laughing Jason behind.
