Sitting next to Annika in her usual spot across from Tobias, Steph made small talk and only stole the occasional glance at Annika, and only when Annika wasn’t looking. The day had both dragged and flown by. Pleasantly tired from their day out on the trails, or rather from Annika and her night of ardent lovemaking, it was hard to stay alert to the conversation when all Steph’s body wanted to do was to melt into a contented puddle.
