Despite the long last day on the trail, the group on the patio was lively and jovial. It was well after midnight and Annika was tired and wanting some alone time with Steph. Even so, she was reluctant to leave. It seemed everyone had a favorite story to retell, along with a fair amount of good-natured teasing. Even Gittie, Max, Jesse, Nicole, and Velinda were still on the patio with the guests, laughing and sharing stories of their own.
