10 Esther, Gina, and five young women gathered in Naomi’s living room. Esther handed around tea in her grandmother’s Royal Doulton cups. The crackle of a fire accompanied the sipping and munching of Gina’s Anzac biscuits. “We’re going to try a new method of looking at Luke tonight,” Esther said. Joy had suggested starting with the Old Testament, but Esther had stuck with Luke, since she was currently studying it. “We’re going to use a Bible storytelling method.” The group members exchanged glances. “We’ll choose certain sections and learn them well enough to tell others before we discuss them.” Gina spoke up. “We’ll try it tonight and see what you think.” Esther smiled at Gina.
