Nolan POV I lean against the wall, my eyes never leaving Andy. He’s sitting at one of the far-right tables, doing the same thing he’s been doing for the past thirty minutes; watching Fiona. The way he looks at her with a cold yet lustful gaze grates on my nerves, making me clench my fists and planting my feet firmly on the floor. It wouldn’t do any of us good for me to march across the room and grind his face beneath my heel. He wants Fiona. His desire for her is easy to see, but what I don’t get is why. He and Chloe are mates, and they haven’t rejected their bond, so he shouldn’t have eyes for anyone other than my daughter. Chloe hasn’t given me any clues that their relationship is failing, yet here we are. A mere college relationship shouldn’t be more powerful than a mate bond.
