Chapter 20

Luca's POV

I got my things ready along with my mate's things. While Drea was in the bathroom, I also sent a mind link to Thalia to get the kids' things ready for the kingdom. I wasn't completely sure of what to pack for them, but I didn't think it would matter knowing that Andrea's parents would provide anything for them while they are there.

Andreas POV

I got up to go to the bathroom and something about Luca playing with me about me having to pee just felt right. Being his mate felt so right. I also felt sad because, with my previous mate, he rejected me right on the spot and I never really truly got to know him, but most importantly, he never actually got to know me. Although I am glad I never got to know him more, since he rejected me right on the spot, it also made me sad and upset that he was never even really willing to give me a chance to being with. He knew me (or at least he knew me more than my current mate I guess??? I am not even sure if I'm being honest, and yet my Mate who I am with now knows nothing about me (in a sense) but yet, he is willing to love me, and he accepts me in every way possible, no matter what. All while, my previous mate rejected me because he had thought that I was weak and that I couldn't help him look good and help make the pack better.

Little did he know who I really was. I was the princess and future queen of the kingdom. I wanted to laugh at how things were turning out, and I knew my parents trusted me and my decisions. I just wasn't sure how I wanted things to go for myself. But one thing I did know was that I wanted to know more about this guy and make him a part of my life. I mean he was my mate, so I wanted to make it work.

Walking out of the room with Luca the kids were already waiting for us with their bags packed for the kingdom. Talia also informed us on the way out the door that we had some snacks and drinks packed in the cars. We thanked her before we all got in the cars. Luca was driving while I sat in the passenger seat, and the kids sat in the back. We had a few other cars following us with my elites and some of Luca's men as well. I was happy to be going home even though it has only been a few days.

"Hey Luca, so I dont think we should push the wedding back or anything but we would need to come up with some kind of plan to be able to train your pack. Not only that but we need to figure out what will happen with the fact that I'll be Q ueen, and getting everything ready for the wedding and the kids."

"Yes I agree with you. Maybe when we get to the kingdom and get some rest we can come up with a plan. We would need to travel back between the pack and the kingdom. I would also have to give my brother a call and see if he is ready for me to pass the title of alpha to him or if he needs more training"

"We'll if he is willing to take over, naturally since the tittle would be passed to him, we could put him in the training that we have here and travel back and forth till he is ready. We also have finance classes here, and I can show him how to invest."

"I like that idea, it'll help him prepare to take over. How long would his training be?" He said looking like he was already coming up with a plan in his mind.

"Well for the most part it would depend on him. How hard he trains, focuses on classes, all of that. But for the most part, it should take him a few months to be trained right and be ready to take over the pack." I said to him.

"I think thats a good idea. Do you think that we could have the wedding planned in time? Its only been about two days since we announced our wedding."

"Well knowing my mom I think she can manage. Im sure she has been planning it since they found out we were mates." I told him. Full well knowing how my mom works.

We drove the few hours getting to know each other and getting to know the kids as well. Things they do and do not like. Sports they would like to play, instruments they want to try. We had some snacks and some water along the ride. We pulled up to the gate, and they opened it for us once they realized who we were.

We pulled up to the front of the kingdom and got out while my parents greeted everyone as well as the kids. I had made sure to call them before we left the pack so they knew, seeing that they had come back here before I got the kids. My parents took the kids and decided to show them their rooms. I knew that they were going to spoil the kids like crazy, and I was more than okay with that. They deserve nothing but the best.

I took Luca up to my room to get settled in. I felt like I had not slept much in days. It was not uncommon for me. I usually stay awake for at least a day or get a few hours a night for a long time, and then I would usually just sleep half the day, and the cycle would just repeat. So I decided that it was time for me to actually sleep and informed my parents through the mindlink. I also asked if they could watch the kids while I slept, which didn't seem to be a problem for them.

I grabbed the shirt that Luca was wearing and went to the bathroom to change into it and some spandex shorts. I ran a brush through my hair, washed my face, and brushed my teeth. I opted not to wear a bra knowing it was more comfortable, and walked out to see Luca sitting on my bed against the headboard waiting for me. I walked over and sat down next to him and he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him and he moved us to lay down. It feels so good to be laying in his arms and to feel the sparks that were flying between us and whatever part that our skin came in contact with each other. We didn't say anything and just lay there while he ran his fingers through my head. Before I knew it, I was out like a light.

Luca's pov

We spent time getting to know each other on the car ride, and she also made some good points about having to travel. I plan to give my brother a call to see if he is willing to take over my position as alpha and if he is then I plan to call my father when we get to the kingdom, so we can prepare to send my brother here. I know he would make a good Alpha and he has always trained beside me. Although he still has some childish ways, I'm sure with time he would fit into the role just right.

When we arrived to the kingdom, the Lycan queen and king greeted us and then took the kids to their rooms. I grabbed our bags and followed my mate to her's/our room. She was quiet and took my shirt to change into. I know these past few days have been tiring for her so I sat on the bed and made a phone call to my brother while I waited for her.
