They were currently in a street which looked like a market of some sort
Dana and Diana had hauled her up from the cozy cafe an hour before suggesting that they needed to shop, more like they wanted her to shop
"Seriously guys I don't need anything! Can we please come back on what we were discussing before! Peacocks!? Is all this normal, how could people never find out! "Ada was amazed, a group of people who were soo unusual, they not only existed, but there was even a special academy, where they studied, and the humans had no idea? Great now she is talking like them!
"Sweetie you do need clothes! You will be bullied to tears if you come like that! " Dana said while gesturing up and down in a very demeaning manner to her perfectly nice outfit!
Granted it wasn't stylish or classy but it was practical, today she had worn faded blue jeans and a chekered red shirt, with her red beanie and glasses, she had no idea what all the fuss was about.
"please just, just let it be! I have many questions, which I want answers too! " Ada whined, can they not understand the level of her shock, when they had turned into swans from thin air
"Sweetie that can wait but the academy is starting from tomorrow, shopping cannot wait! " Diana chided, as if she was talking to a five year old child
"But -"
"Fine, fine what do you want to know" Diana said, looking at Ada's stubborn expression
"Why did human-We people no idea that this kind of academy exists! "
They looked at each other
"Should we tell her? " Dana asked Diana
"You know guys I can hear you" Ada rolled her eyes, seriously these people were too much.
They looked at her guiltily
They were weird but nice, at least.
"Alright dear, actually not everyone can enter here, you might have had to travel quite a lot, to reach the academy, and you might have even thought that this place is too deep in the forest"
Ada nodded
"Well that is beacause you have the offer letter you were able to find the gate"
"Like magic? " Now were there wizards and witches also, in this strange place
"No dear, the doves might have guided you, you were not aware of it, but you might have seen the directions time to time, other people are misguided in the same way"
"But is that even possible? " Well great, how the hell had she not noticed something like this
"Yes they are very accurate with directions, the doves that is"
"How much is this for? " Dana had stopped near a shop, which sold accessories, she was dangling a very pretty pair of silver rings with a blue feather dangling from it
Seriously these sisters get distracted soo easily
The blue feather reminded her of something, something beautiful, it reminded Ada of the eyes of the mysterious boy, it was the same cool blue, it was sparkling too,like his eyes, it was very beautiful, it was mesmerizing.
"Here you have it" Dana came towards her and put on the single earring in her left ear
"Nono, I don't -"
"You were looking at it with such an awed expression, and it is looking very pretty on you, something to celebrate our friendship " she said with a smile
"Alright then! " She smiled back, they were kind to her
"Come on! " Diana had walked quite a distance, by the time they had purchased the earring
Ada could see a huge imposing structure looming at the far distance, where Diana was waiting for them
"I still have many questions" Ada said to Dana as they were walking towards Diana
"I know dear, but don't you think this much information is enough for today, you should take some time to process it " she said while tapping on Ada's shoulder sympathetically
Well she is right! It was too much information, or should she say shocks for today.
My god! the structure is Gorgeous, was Ada's first thought when she looked at the beautifully carved statue.
It was about twenty feet tall , it was a bird for sure, birds, magnificent birds at that
Their wings were open, they were in some sort of embrace or dance, it was carved in stone, there was snow covering it
"Its a Phoenix, a pair of Phoenix! " Diana told Ada
She was awed, by its beauty, they looked soo real
"They look soo real" Ada finally found her voice
They both laughed
"You were not ready to aceept that we were swans, but phoenix you think look real, something which even we don't believe exists" Dana explained
"ohh? "
"Yes, dear there is a legend that there was a pair of phoenix who studied here about 200 years ago, they were mates, but it can also be a myth, afterall to find a phoenix and for that phoenix to find a mate in his lifetime is next to impossible" Dana scoffed
"Why is that? " Ada was genuinely mystified
"I think this is too much for today" Diana said finally
"But i really want to know" Ada was very curious
"Yes dear and you will, but not now, it is almost 6 now and you know the dorm closes at 7 we have to send you there before our mom have our heads" They said with mock horrific expressions
They were really funny
They sent her to her dorm building and disappeared behind the doors
Ada touched the earring dangling from her ear, it was soo beautiful, she stood before the mirror in her room
"Alright Ada prepare yourself for tomorrow " She pepped herself, she removed her lenses and then finally went to sleep.
